Pre-heat your oven to 160 degrees C and line a loaf tin with parchment paper. Ensure your oven rack is in the middle of your oven, ready for when your bread is made.
In a large bowl, cream together your butter and sugar on medium speed.
Once just combined, add in egg and continue beating until very light and fluffy.
Add in the pumpkin puree and beat in until combined. Mixture might look broken at this point, it will come back together.
Add in your flour a little at a time, until mostly combined, then add in your baking soda, salt, baking powder and pumpkin spice as well as the last bit of your flour.
Continue mixing until all combined.
Pour batter into your loaf pan and flatten out. Then pour over your streusel as a topping. You can swirl a bit in, if you'd like!
Bake for an hour to an hour and a half, checking to see if the bread is baked fully yet.
Allow to cool and serve!
