Pre-heat the oven to 220 degrees C (425 degrees F)
Mix together the above, dry ingredients in a large bowl (or in a plastic container with a lid, if you want to shake everything together)
Slice apples thinly, add lemon juice to the slices
Add the apples to the dry ingredients and combine well.
Place apples on top of uncooked pie shell, in a pie tin.
Put 4 dabs of margarine or butter over apples.
Sprinkle with a touch of extra flower.
Put on top crust and seal around the edges, as well as poke the middle so that there is an air vent.
Bake at 220 degrees C (425 degrees F) for 10 minutes.
Turn the oven down to 160 degrees C (325 degrees F) for a further 30 to 35 minutes.
