The positives (and negatives) of a silk pillowcase

[Ad- gifted product] Pillowcases are a necessity in every and all houses. They keep your pillows clean and allow you to easily wash the outside of them, as well as look cute on your bed. Most people purchase cheap cotton pillowcases for their pillows, but there is actually a lot of benefits to purchasing a silk pillowcase, treating yourself to something a bit more luxurious, that will last longer and provide lasting health benefits to the person using them. I’ve now switched to a 22 Momme Mulberry Silk Pillowcase from Calidad Home. Let’s go over some of the positives of this lovely pillow case and some of the not so positives.

Upcircle Face Mask | Review

[Ad- gifted product] It’s a fact that we love face masks. We’ve written about our favourite masks recently as well, but wanted to branch out and find more fantastic masks to review and possibly update the list of our favourites a bit more. I found that I prefer clay or similar masks to sheet masks – and they seem to really last longer as well as feel better on my face. As Dann hadn’t done very many (at all) face masks before, he’s been really enjoying cleaning up his skin and having little pampering sessions. Our newest face mask from Upcircle actually has a pretty interesting concept behind it.

BBQ Summer Blogger Giveaway

Summer is here and the weather has taken a turn for the best – with sunshine and flowers blooming! Now that the weather has become lovely, we decided to team up with a bunch of lovely bloggers to giveaway some lovely BBQ-related items, to make someone’s garden perfect for family meals and taking advantage of the lovely weather that we have been having lately! Vivacats Birthday Box | Review

If you read my previous review of last month’s Vivacats box, you are probably weren’t expecting another. I felt these boxes weren’t worth the price tag, but as it turns out, I received my Vivacats box the day after the last day you cancel by, so they charged me and sent me another box. Now, unsubscribing to Vivacats has been a whole ordeal. You have to email them – but they never replied to me. Another week went by, no reply. I reached out on Facebook Messager and was told that they had over 900 emails, so they couldn’t get to mine right now. As it got close to charging time for the 3rd box, I messaged again and the conversation went in circles where they asked for my email, I provided it, they didn’t reply for hours, I asked if I was unsubscribed, they asked for my email, I then replied with it (again), they didn’t reply… Eventually, after another week, they finally confirmed I was, in fact, unsubscribed, so this will be my final box – I feel! Anyway, let’s get into the box.

This month’s theme is Birthday, which has a few mystery items within it. I have the UK box – as different countries have various different items inside their box. There was an item I didn’t receive as well as some opinions on ‘surprise’ snacks, but we will get into that.

What’s Going On? Asked Belinda Fitz-John | Review

[Ad- gifted product] Covid-19 has really changed life for everyone around the globe in the last few months, from shops changing entire layouts to children needing to be home schooled. It’s a complex topic, especially for children who are experiencing a pandemic without much of an understand as to what is going on. Three mothers wanted a more simple way to explain the pandemic to their children, and thus, What’s Going On? Asked Belinda Fitz-John was created.
