[Ad- gifted product] In our household, we really do snack often. I like to have a variety of snacks readily available for everyone to enjoy. Though we tend to stay away from processed goods, occasionally we do dip into more processed, delicious snacks as long as they are of good quality. The Awfully Posh pork scratchings fall under this category! They have two flavors; Sea Salt and Chilli & Garlic. Both are made with premium pork skin and are checked over to make sure the best of the best goes into the bag.
Awfully Posh Sea Salt Pork Scratchings
The first flavor, and I suppose most default of the two, is the sea salt pork scratchings. As they are pork scratchings, I expected these to be a salt bomb! They, thankfully, weren’t actually that salty. The crunch and sometimes softness of the pork scratching is really lovely in this sea salt pack, and the amount of salt is perfect. There are two sizes, a 40g snack sized and a larger 100g sharer-snack sized, which are full with more than enough pork scratchings to enjoy in one sitting. We found these to be really great, even if you normally don’t eat pork scratchings, as the salt level was perfect.
Awfully Posh Chilli & Garlic Pork Scratchings
I really, really loved the flavor on the chilli & garlic scratchings. The heat is great, it slowly builds as you eat loads, and the garlic is so pleasant. Like the previous bag, the pork scratchings in this bag had a great texture and were super munchable. I ate up these very fast! They came in 40g bags, though I am sure I could have abolished a 100g bag of the flavored ones! It’s also worth mentioning that the package on both of these items are really cute and I love the snacked-sized aspect of them. Neither packs were greasy either, which is always a plus.
I’m super happy with the flavor and quality of the Awfully Posh Pork Scratchings and will be picking up more in the future, as they are awfully addictive as well! You can find these new flavors and a few others on the Awfully Posh Pork Scratchings Website.
I have never had these, but they look amazing! I love salty snacks lately. I recently tried some cheddar jalapeno chips and they were so good.
From Tescos, we tried the WALKERS MAX Jalapeno and cheese chips! Love snacking.
Pork crackling is always the best part of the Sunday port roast and I have to confess I do love a good pork scratching so I’ll have to check these out, they sound delicious! ๐
