The Best Father’s Day Gifts 2023

During the almost-year that I’ve been writing on this website alongside Jupiter I’ve been introduced to a massive selection of companies who create custom, specialised presents and gifts perfect for a variety of events. Father’s Day is rapidly approaching, and this made me realise that this is – almost certainly – one of the best times of year for us to quickly list off some of the best Father’s Day gifts out there.

Swizzels Retro Candy

A classic, retro gift – Swizzels have a bunch of different candy boxes so you can find the perfect gift for your father! These bundles of retro sweets are nostalgic. They bring back memories of being a kid yourself and also are just good to snack on throughout the day. All of the Swizzels sweets are actually vegan too, as a little bonus, while still having the same taste I remember from when I was younger.

Manchester Drinks Co Rhubarb & Ginger Gin

Not every father is into rum, and with the amount of different, fun flavoured gin there is out there, there are tons of other options. Manchester Drinks Co creates small batches of gin, with some unique flavours. My favourite is the Rhubarb and Ginger, which is both floral and sweet, with a nice amount of ginger throughout. If you’ve got a father not quite into beer or who likes to mix drinks, this is a great option.

I always find it really challenging to evenly put on face masks, but this product has an applicator that makes it super easy to put on your face, so that you don’t need to spend a lot of time or make a lot of mess just to do a face mask. One of the items that every masculine figure seems to use, and never replace, is wallets. Engravers Guild of London does a beautiful personalise wallet that has plenty of space. This wallet can be customised with up to three letters; initials or a short name fits well. There is also a good amount of choices for the colour of the letters and the font for the wallet, which feels like a really lovely gift, especially for a father who is looking to up his wardrobe!

Complete with a nice gift box, the Cadbury Father’s Day Chocolate & Sweets Gift Set is an awesome bundle of sweet treats, making the perfect gift for Father’s Day. There are tons of different treats in this box, including Wine Gums, Eclairs’, and a bunch of different chocolate bars. One of the bars even has a Happy Father’s Day special cover, making it feel really luxurious and themed to the day. Fentimans do a bunch of different fizzy drinks and tonics that are a really nice treat for Father’s Day. I’ve been specifically enjoying their Ginger Beer and Curiosity Cola in the evenings, when winding down after the kids have gone to bed. There are tons of different cocktail recipes to explore, using these beverages, if you are looking for something a little more fun to try! These glass bottles and interesting drinks feel very fancy and like a very fun gift for Father’s Day.

You Are The Best Dad Ever Book

Wonderbly does a You Are The Best Dad Ever Book, which is lovely. Online, the kids (with the help of Jupiter) were able to personalise this book in a quick and easy way. The customization process is started by typing in the name you’d like at on the front cover, from there they were able to write the quote inside the cover, add names of each child and add a partner’s name. The personality qualities are where the bulk of the customisation comes from however: children can choose 8 different qualities that become chapters in the book! Supportive, knowledgeable, practical, loving, handwork, great at cooking, dependable, and kind were the qualities picked for me, but there are quite a few options. There are also four different covers to choose from. The real beauty of the You Are The Best Dad Ever Book is the chapters within them. All of the children’s names can be found in each chapter, which are all beautifully illustrated. It’s a very touching book.

Personalized Champagne

Father’s Day is a time of celebration and for many people there’s no better way to celebrate then with a bit of champagne. Say it with Champers has a few different Father’s Day personalized champagnes that you can then add a message onto. Some are more serious looking then others, for a business dad, while I got the heart-with-a-mustache champagne design. You are able to type in whatever you want for the top area of the bottle, as well as a bigger message for the bottom label. This gift is a little different, yet still feels personal due to the custom message. It’s also very fun to watch people pop champagne!

Personalised Airpods Pro Case 

If you’ve got a tech-y dad, much like myself, a Personalised Airpods Pro Case is a really neat gift. This case looks like a little breif case, which goes quite well with my dictionary phone case! You can get the initials of your father on them, which adds a bit of personality to them. This airpods pro case is made of leather and has a clip, so that it can be attached to some phone cases, key chains, etc. There is a small charging hole on the bottom of the case, allowing charging to happen straight from the case itself, which is pretty handy! Your father would need to have airpods to complete this case of course, as the case only clips closed after the airpods have been placed inside. If you’re looking for a more tech forward gift, this is a very stylish and useful one.

Personalised Bubble Base Whisky Glass Tumbler

If your dad is a whisky drinker, the Personalised Bubble Base Whisky Glass Tumbler is a nice option! You can pick a few lines to get engraved in this glass, which looks quite nice when using it. The glass has a little bubble, perfectly put in the centre of the base of the glass as well. This glass comes in a really nice gift box, perfectly packaged up so that you just need to give it to your Father on Father’s Day.

Classic Tie

A tie is something that is always given for Father’s Day, so it’s a must have on the list. Dad’s seem to always need new ties, as they are a crucial part of business clothes for men. The Tie Room has a beautiful and wide selection of colourful, bright, and more muted ties – as well as bow ties and pocket squares – that really fit the bill! If you’re looking for quality, this is where you’ll find it. Their ties are often woven silk, which really feel luxurious. Each one comes with a stain remover packet for silk and wool, which is a lovely touch. The tie I got was from the Notch collection, made in Sweden!

Ticket to Ride

Ticket to Ride is the perfect gift for your dad if you are looking for a fun activity to do with him! This board game has you building train networks across Europe, while other players are also trying to build competing train networks. You have secret objects to try and achieve, so that you can have the most points at the end of the game. It’s a classic board game, favourited by many over the years, and one we love in our household!

I Love You This Much Book

If your children are a bit younger and you’re looking for a book you can read with them, Wonderbly’s I Love you This Much book is perfect. Starting with your child’s name, you can then pick a character who looks like them. This will be the character within the book! From there, you can type in what that child calls the person they are giving the book, pick the colour of the front of the book, and write a dedication. Robin did all of this with the help of Jupiter, and then took a look at the preview of the book. It’s an adorable book to read to younger children, as the format has you reading something enjoyable in their life, then the next page states that they love their parent even more! Wonderbly also put up a printable card based on this book, that you can customize and download for free.

Mini Arcade Racing Game By Retro Arcade

If your dad needs a new desk toy or just likes video games, the Mini Arcade Racing Game by Retro Arcade has a bunch of different, mini games that are perfect for procrastination and for messing around with. All of these 8-bit games are around racing and driving. This little arcade machine has full colour in their games, so it’s not too retro! It’s a great gift for racing and retro gaming fans, especially as there are at least 30 games on the console.

Crossfly Men’s Boxers

I often find that I never have enough pairs of boxers in my chest of drawers. As it’s Father’s Day, a really popular gift is always a new set of boxers. The Crossfly collection of men’s gift boxes and boxers are quite posh feeling, and beat out the multipacks you will find at your local grocery store. The fabric on this set is really breathable and soft against my skin which felt far nicer than other boxers I have previously had, almost like a luxury pair. The X-Fly patient design, which I have only ever seen on these pants, allows the wearer to swipe their thumb down, so that they can easily use the toilet when in a rush!
