Bioarmor-Nano Active Surface Protection | Review

[Ad- gifted product] In a world where we currently are spending a lot of time using hand sanitizer and washing our hands while singing Happy Birthday, cleaning has not been more prominent. With this big push to clean more and watch out for harmful germs, there have been a lot of new products that have come out, to help fight bacteria and keep things more clean. Bioarmor-Nano Active Surface Protection have a bunch of different cleaners from household surfaces to pet accessory cleaners, but we got the chance to check out their Home, Gadgets and Tech cleaner.

This pack is meant to keep your device clean for 90 days, as well as add a hydrophic coating to your device, which is good for phone screens and the like, that don’t do well when you use your wet hands on them. The process is really quite simple – there are two different sachet bags that have a pre-clean and a coating that you can apply to your device. The Pre-Clean surface whip smells really strongly of alcohol wipes – it’s a tough bit of cloth, not so much like a fabric and instead like parchment paper. I wiped my devices with this and then used the microfiber cloth that was provided. Then I opened the anit-bacterial coating.

When I first opened this pack, it looked a whole lot like the cloth had been moulded. It’s really off putting when it comes to something that is meant to be clean and meant to protect your devices. According to the company, this is actually silver build up, and is perfectly safe. This cloth is more like fabric, and doesn’t smell super strongly of alcohol. Once you use this cloth (I just used the corners which were least affected by the strange color) you can allow your device to touch dry after wiping off excess residue. I would suggest wiping off this excess residue quite quickly, as it sort of smudges if you let it dry too much.

After letting my phone completely dry (which takes 5 hours, though you can use it after it’s ‘touched dried’ in 5 minutes), there is some sort of slightly sticky residue on it – which might be what’s protecting it – but this does take a bit to actually get use to. My phone is still completely usable and works perfectly fine, so if this coating is what keeps it more water resistant, then I suppose it’s showing it’s there! Bioarmor-Nano Active Surface Protection is said to kill up to 99.99% of all harmful microbial growth on the surface of the device for a minimum of 90 days. According to the packaging, it’s meant to prevent the growth of bacteria, moulds and fungus as well as odor producing microbes.
