Don’t Fall for It – Trivia-based Board Game

[Ad- gifted product] Every other week, we go to our local Geek Retreat to try out a new board game! This time, we played some Don’t Fall for It, which is a trivia-based board game with a large range of subjects. The age rating on this board game is ten and above, though, Robin is nine (nearly ten) so we figured we would see how it would go. Halloween Dinner Ideas

I think there is something so much fun about themed dinners! We love having a bit of fun with presentation, especially around the holiday seasons. Halloween does get a little repetitive with the dinner ideas that I find on the internet, as they are primarily a lot of party food. Live Music at Hitchin Priory Summer Sessions

Dann and I have been going to more and more music festivals and food festivals that feature music in the last few years. One band that I have always wanted to see live is The Wombats, which are my current favorite. Dann is a big fan of Razorlight, so when the Hitchin Priory Summer Sessions listed a day with both Razorlight and The Wombats, there was no way we weren’t going to go. This three day long festival had different bands each day, but we went on the Saturday, which had the bands we were interested in. Dann and I invited our two friends, as a sort of double date, and headed off for the afternoon.

Staying connected at sea

One of the big questions gamers ask when it comes to travel is: “What’s the Wi-Fi like?” Internet at sea used to be expensive and patchy, but ships have really improved their tech in recent years. Many now use satellite connections that give you fast enough speeds to check in on your favourite games, chat with friends back home, and keep up with the latest gaming news.

The Best Ways to Give Back to Your Parents

For many of us, our parents are the people who guided us through childhood, supported our ambitions, and offered unconditional love along the way. As they grow older, the desire to give something back becomes stronger. The good news is that showing gratitude doesn’t have to be complicated. There are many ways to enrich their lives while honouring their independence and dignity. Keep reading to learn more.

Spend Quality Time Together

Often, what parents value most is time. A simple visit, a shared meal, or even a walk in the park can mean more than grand gestures. Regular contact fosters connection and reassures them that they remain an important part of your world. Making memories together, whether through family get-togethers, days out, or cosy evenings at home, is a priceless gift.
