Everything you should bring to Blogger Events

[Ad- gifted product] I have always gone to gaming events, and most recently, got the chance to go along to BlogOn, which is an amazing blogger conference full of brands, talks, and more. When attending events, something that hasn’t happened at physical locations for some time, it can be really daunting. It’s often hard to know what to bring or what to do at events. Every event you go to will be different – BlogOn was a one day event, where as longer events can be 2 days or even 5 days. BlogOn was a particularly great event in how helpful everyone was and in the supplies they had dotted around, however, not all events are this helpful – so to ensure you get the most out of it and have the best time you can, you should pack your bag accordingly.

A Day Out at Hurley’s Pumpkin Forest

We have been exploring pumpkin patches, as it’s just that time of year! This year, a new name popped up – close to Marsh Farm, we found Hurley’s Pumpkin Forest. This pumpkin picking patch has a few fun activities around the outside, along with a variety of pumpkins, to give families a complete day out. Pre-booking is essential though, but is on the cheap side at only £5 per car, which covers the cost of parking and a wheel barrel rental. Most other things in the Pumpkin Forest is free, though, so you will get a lot out of your £5!

8 Easy Spooky Treats for Halloween

Updated: October 9th, 2021 to add more treats.

We have been cooking up a storm in our household – from healthy foods like soups to anything with pumpkin puree to sweet treats perfect for a party or packed lunch! I wanted to share some of the best, spooky, delicious treats for you to enjoy with your family. As we love to theme everything, it’s so fun to share these recipes with you, and I hope you do get to try some of them out! If you would like to watch me create some spooky lunches, fun breakfasts and more, I also have a TikTok where I create recipe videos!

Monster Wraps

Making a great and filling lunch, we created some of these monster wraps. The idea is simple – create a wrap of your choice, then cut some hair out of sliced cheese and make some eyes out of olives sliced up (though you could use red pepper to make eyes, if your not a fan of olives). We filled our wrap with red pepper hummus, cucumbers and slices of chicken, and then decorate them once they are rolled up. These impress so much in packed lunches!

A Day Out at the Slate Valley Museum

When it comes to local museums, there are a few in the town my grandparents live in. When I was a kid, I never took the time to really explore them or learn much when it came to being outside of school. Now that I am older, and appreciate the museums that I go too, I wanted to go to the Slate Valley Museum right in the middle of the town. There are tons of signs around, which declare Granville as the slate capitol of the world, so I did want to know exactly what made this small town a popular place when it come to an export as simple as slate.
