When it comes to local museums, there are a few in the town my grandparents live in. When I was a kid, I never took the time to really explore them or learn much when it came to being outside of school. Now that I am older, and appreciate the museums that I go too, I wanted to go to the Slate Valley Museum right in the middle of the town. There are tons of signs around, which declare Granville as the slate capitol of the world, so I did want to know exactly what made this small town a popular place when it come to an export as simple as slate.

When it comes to Halloween time, I really love the idea of having special Halloween bath bombs! I love themes and feel Halloween should leak into every aspect of my day to day life, including, of course, self care time. This year’s Pretty Suds bath bomb box has some really lovely bombs – all of them are so big and so good at fitting the spooky theme. The Moon Almanac – Moon Guide to the Lunar Year
[Ad- gifted product] The moon, hanging up in the sky, is often something more talked about during the autumn months. I always have an interested in space, the moon, stars, and everything astrological – I guess it comes with the name. So, when I saw The Moon Almanac, I became pretty excited to learn about the moon! The book itself is really beautiful, with a dark blue color and lots of halo, rainbow highlights to the words and designs on the book.

Absurd Bird – Unlimited Chicken Wings | Restaurant Review
As it was our friend Quang‘s birthday, as well as Dann’s birthday this month, we decided to all meet up and go to Absurd Bird’s unlimited wing Wednesday. They do have a time limit of an hour and a half, and none of us were shoveling food into our face, but we still got our money’s worth! The first order of wings you pick is a 8 wing bucket, with each top-up being a 4 wing bucket. This deal also comes with fries, but the fries were not crispy and not great – just some filler.
