When it comes to wintertime, one of the fondest memories I have from when I was a child was creating cookie trays with my grandmother. Though there were tons of gingerbread cookies and sugar cookies that you can decorate, my favorite to eat was always these Hazelnut Melting Moments cookies, which are crumbly, hazelnut cookies with chocolate! Best Meze Grill – Really lovely food and atmosphere

We have spent a lot of this year going to Legoland, and there is one thing that Legoland sucks at; food. There really isn’t any good food to eat there, so we started looking for places nearby that would be able to fill our bellies with dinner. Best Meze Grill is a Turkish restaurant that really lives up to it’s name. The building is small, but cozy, with the owner always on the floor, ready to recommend you food and be one of the most accommodating owners I have ever met. We’ve essentially become regulars at this establishment as it is just so good.

A Day out at Legoland at Christmas

If you have been reading our blog, you will know we are a fan of Legoland. This year was actually the year of amusement parks, where we went to as many amusement parks as we could in the year. As Legoland is our most local amusement park, we wanted to go to the Halloween event, Bonfire Night event and Christmas event, to experience the park in a bunch of different ways. We were able to check out Legoland at Christmas and had a pretty fun time!
