The Book of Silly Rhymes | Review

[Ad- gifted product] Short, silly stories can captivate the most reluctant reader, bringing them into short stories that are easy to understand which make them laugh. That’s the goal of The Book of Silly Rhymes, a slightly rude, super funny little book that contains quite a few poems. These poems are all easy to read, quick, and just simply funny.

Doughnut Time’s Design-Yo-Own 2.0 Kit | Review

Though I am not the biggest fan of donuts, my family is, so while looking for fun and new things to do, I came across one of my favorite donuts places doing an at home, decorate your own donuts kit. Doughnut Time has a few different options when it comes to their design your own donut kit, which we are probably going to try again after these went down so well, as I’d love to try some of their other toppings, but to start we got the Design-Yo-Own 2.0 kit.

7ate9 Family Friendly Game | Review

[Ad- gifted product] 7ate9 is the latest one of the Ideal family game collection to be doing the rounds at the house – it’s a fun little card game based around quick maths and hand management. It’s also, like the other recent Ideal games which I’ve written about, got a really cool, compact storage option that comes with it. In 7ate9 the goal is quite simple, as a matter of fact, you just have to get rid of all of your cards before the other players.

Each card is oval-shaped, with a main number printed twice in the middle of it – so it can be seen from upside-down and right-side-up. This number can be from 1 through to 10, with ten. Then, in the corner of each card, there is a plus and minus symbol as well as a number from 1 to 3. Each card is coloured to match this little, top-corner multiplier – useful to remember for quicker play.

Food & Drink Festival Online – Discover new brands

As many of the food festivals I normally would attend were cancelled, there became a bunch of new online classes and recipes popping up, but nothing really covered the ability to find new brands, all together in one space, and see what products they have to offer. Some of my favorite food festival memories are walking around castles, viewing new, small businesses that I had never heard of who make the coolest infused oils or rainbow pastas. Richard Reeves was speaking to the founder of Nauteas, Katia Sokolskaya and came up with the idea of a digital event focused on showing off some brands that otherwise wouldn’t be seen this year! I wanted to highlight a few from their Food & Drink Festival Online 2020.

ORGANii Eucalyptus & Citrus Mouthwash | Review

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to dental care, mouthwash was always that one thing that I didn’t ever like the taste of. There are tons of health benefits to using mouthwash after you do brush your teeth, so as someone who doesn’t enjoy many of the default, strange blue colored ones out there, I was interested in trying out ORGANii’s different mouthwashes. They have two flavors; Eucalyptus and Citrus – with Citrus really peaking my interest. As I have been trying to better take care of myself, I found wanted to find a mouthwash that I better liked using.

These mouthwashes are made with aloe vera – a natural anti-fungal and antibacterial plant extract – and are formulated to help protect teeth and gums, as well as prevent plaque and tar build up, and of course fight bad breath and gingivitis. They both boost the creation of collagen, improving the mouth’s ability to heal. These are obviously all huge positives and well worth adding a mouthwash to you tooth brushing routine.
