KittySpring – Cat Water Fountain | Review

When it comes to cat fountains, there is so much information out there about how a water fountain is much better than a bowl of water, for your furry friend. When we got a cat fountain for Pancake, despite it being a very good fountain, Pancake was a bit… well… scared of it. Pancake, as it turns out, doesn’t like water that moves. He finds movement, in anything, scary as he is a little cowardly pet who doesn’t enjoy so much movement and noise. He would keep drinking from his bowl, when given the choice, ignoring his fountain.

Personalised Pet Portrait with Iconic Paw

[Ad- gifted product] As you know, I love Pancake so much. So does Dann. We both just love our cat. He’s the most adorable, fun little cat I have ever met. He is also a massive coward, who would never be Jedi. But, I am sure, even little Pancake has dreams. Iconic Paw allowed Pancake’s dreams to be realised, in some way, with their customised paintings – which come in a variety of different themes from royal-looking pets, to Star Wars pets to Mario pets – and it’s quite easy to get one of your dog or cat.

5 Things to Think about as your Cat Gets Older

[Ad- collab] Now, don’t get me wrong. Pancake is still a little tiny cat in my eyes. As it turns out, I am not actually that wrong, as their aging can be different from breed to breed. Pancake is a purebred – something neither Dann nor myself had ever been able to get before. Purebreds are often considered a junior pet for a little bit longer, which is pretty cool, but most cats are deemed ‘senior’ from anywhere between age 7 and 11.

As Pancake gets older, there are lots of things we want to keep in mind and consider, as time flies and accommodating your pet all through their life is something we aim to do ourselves. There are a lot of different things to think about and look for as your cat ages, to make sure they do get the most out of their lives and enjoy a full life themselves. It’s good to fully understand what an older pet will look like, even if you get a kitten, as hopefully you will have your cat long into their old age.
