Granny Franny’s Big Red Bus | Review

[Ad- gifted product] Granny Franny’s Big Red Bus is an adorable children’s bedtime story, about a fun day out for two young kids – in London! We love bedtime stories in our home, so finding new and fun books is something we tend to look out for. As we live so close to London, and travel into London often, I was pretty excited to read about an adventure on one of those big red London busses!

Herbie’s Water Fountain for Cats | Review

[Ad- gifted product] I’ve been told time and time again that moving water is good for cats! Pancake always is swatting at his water and drinking from the tap, so when we saw Herbie’s Water Fountain for Cats, we figured this was great for our moving water drinking cat. We really like the look of the flower and the glow of the tank – there is a lot of positives to having a fountain as appose to just a water bowl.

Barry’s Cactus Club Plant Subscription | Review

After trying out Lazy Flora’s plant subscription, I wanted to explore other plant-based subscription boxes! Barry’s Cactus Club was so new that it was only taking pre-orders and I wanted to get on board for the first few months. We are now three month’s in, so I figured I would write up how this club has been so far. It’s a very new service, much like Lazy Flora was when I tried it out, so there might be more changes in the future. Each month, you are meant to get one cactus, one card which tells you about the cactus, a tiny pot and then some bonus items!

The New Selfie Bag from Cotton Bag Co | Review

[Ad- gifted product] After reviewing the previous Selfie Bag from Cotton Bag Co, I was really excited to see they were doing a new and improved version! I do take a lot of selfies, which you can always find on Twitter or Instagram.  Like most of the people from my generation, I love taking pictures of myself and sharing my thoughts and feelings with the world. The new Selfie Bag is basically a tool kit to take the best selfies while on the go and at events – which is the best place to take pictures, really, as it shows a bunch of different places and stories about your life. Let’s get into the bag;

Planet Eat – Netflix for Food Videos | Review

[Ad- gifted product] We have subscriptions to most online, video watching platforms. I watch Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Huey – so switching between these different platforms is something we’ve always done. When I heard about Planet Eat, a new food TV subscription platform, I was excited to try their free month of viewing! I watch a lot of food programs and miss Food Network – a TV channel in America, so I was hoping this would replace my craving for some amazing food TV.

Planet Eat actually has a lot of shows already, despite being quite new to the market, however most of these shows are only 10 to 15 minutes long, making them into mini-videos. Many of them are recipes, tutorials and master classes, which can really help if you don’t like reading recipes or want to learn new skills when it comes to being in the kitchen. Each episode also has a trailer video you can watch to get a better feel of the show. I found myself getting the most out of master classes and really enjoyed the detailed programs on taking pictures and telling a story through food, but I felt the videos could be bulked out with the presenter actually taking pictures and showing them to us, instead of talking so much about equipment or just showing images taken earlier, instead of the entire process of setting them up.
