Fancy Meal at Brinchi Steakhouse

When it comes to trying out new places to eat, Dann and I are always excited! At the very back of the town centre in Harlow, Brinchi Steakhouse has opened in this year. This isn’t the most pleasant part of the town, with parking being primarily at the other side towards the Water Gardens, but it’s well worth the walk! Brinchi Steakhouse has an interesting menu, containing pasta, pizza, Turkish food and of course, lots of steak and beef-based dishes. Dann and I went on a random Sunday for a massive lunch, where the staff were very welcoming.

Dinner at The Refinery CityPoint

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I have previously been to the Refinery CityPoint for drinks and had a pretty good time, so we were both excited to have dinner there! We went for a big meal out, with a bunch of our work team, after one of our main events. There were a lot of us, so we pre-ordered about a week before, giving us each little name tag reminders of what we actually picked out, which was very useful as I did not remember in the slightest.

Eating noodles at UDON Bilbao Abando

After visiting the Guggenheim in Bilbao, we were all looking for a place to eat, so stumbled upon UDON Bilbao Abando. This Asian restaurant is quite nearby, has a sustainability award, and says they specialize in noodles. I am a huge fan of both noodles and Asian food, so was very interested in eating here. As they had some vegan options, for our vegan friend, we went right in to see if it was as good as expected.

Traditional Dinner at The Bothy Restaurant and Bar

While staying in Loch Ness with Abbey Holidays, we weren’t very interested in cooking our on food! The Bothy Bar and Restaurant is one we often passed going from Loch Ness to our accommodation. They offer a traditional Scottish menu and feel a lot like a community bar and restaurant, with tons of families inside. The place was absolutely packed when we arrived, so I didn’t get any pictures of the inside in the end, but people eating were sat in a conservatory on the side of the main building, which had a large bar. All of the specials were written on a giant chalk board next to the serving area for the staff. We were seated quite quickly, as they don’t take reservations, and went straight into looking at the menu.

Seeing Animals at Cameron’s Tearoom and Farm Shop

On our quest to pet Highland Cows while staying at The Highland Club in Fort Augustus, we heard about Cameron’s Tearoom and Farm Shop. There wasn’t much to go off of for the venue, but with the idea of seeing cows in mind, we headed there. Cameron’s Tearoom & Farm Shop is on the smaller, cozy side when it comes to seating. There is a fireplace roaring in the middle, it feels like sitting in someone’s living room, and there are a bunch of different sports jerseys hanging on the wall. When we arrived, it was during the switch between the breakfast menu and lunch menu, where the tearoom doesn’t serve food for half an hour. I didn’t realize this was a thing, but they let us come in and check out the menu while we waited.
