[Ad- gifted product] Pancake does love his scratching posts… and scratching rugs… and couches… and boxes… and anything else that he claims as his own. In an effort to stop him from scratching up the rug, we’ve been getting more and more little scratching posts for him, dotting them around the house and hoping they prove to be more entertaining then carpets and couches. When Catipilla reached out about their luxury scratcher posts, we were intrigued. We’d never seen a post that stuck to the wall that way, which would really help as Pancake sometimes gets excited and knocks his over.
We picked out a 75cm pillar, which was super easy to install. Our walls are quite hallow currently, especially where we wanted to hang it, but the included rawl plugs were ideal for us! It was easy to trace where the stand holders needed to go, drill two small holes, and then screw them into the wall. Once these two holders were in, you can just slide the Catipilla Scratcher pillar onto the mounts – meaning that you can replace this post whenever it gets too scratched up or used. This is a really nice touch as Pancake has been really digging in there, so I can see how this can be useful down the line!
Pancake was very interested in scratching up the Catipillar Scratcher, but what surprised us most is that he sometimes just hangs off of the post, climbing higher up it, completely off the ground. This lazy boy really does enjoy climbing – which fits in so well with their other products, which include hammocks and cat climbers. These items are designed to not take up as much space, as they are attached to walls and build upwards in your home, which is another great thing as Pancake already has taken over quite a bit of floor space! Climbing is also just super fun to watch. We are really happy with our Catipilla Scratcher and Pancake seems to love it too.

This is brilliant – a cat scratcher that encourages climbing as well! I’m pretty sure my cats would enjoy this… the other day I caught my kitten climbing up the curtain so I’m sure she’d play with this! I used to have a cat scratcher, it definitely kept my cats busy when I had them. It also spares your valuables from being ripped to shreds!

This is a great way to give your cat that fun furniture without worrying about taking up too much space. I’m sure my cats would go CRAZY over it! I mean, Jinx cat is lazy but I could totally see Pippen climbing it like you shard that Pancake does lol

This is very cool! My cats both try to climb their floor model scratching post but it’s only two or three feet high. I think they might really like this one. Thanks for the info.
