Keeping a kitten entertained with the Catit Circuit Ball Toy

Catit Circuit Ball Toy

We’ve got a new addition to the family – a kitten named Popcorn, which has come with all sorts of new fun. Pancake was not a kitten when we welcomed him to our household, and Pesto was younger but not a little baby cat either. Popcorn, however, is a full blown kitten who needs a lot of attention, playtime, and things to do. To prepare for Popcorn, we got all the normal stuff; a new bowl for him, a few cat scratchers, and then we moved onto the toys. We got a good amount of toys that they can roll around with, but found that Popcorn really needed something that he could play with on his own. That’s where the Catit Circuit Ball Toy came in!

Catit actually has three different versions of the Circuit Ball Toy which has different features in the middle. We got one with a scratcher in the middle, but could have purchased one with an area to grow cat grass or one that has a massager in it, so that your cat can rub their face against that area. We have previously had scratchers for Pancake, and know that he really loved them, so figured that all three cats might have a chance to enjoy this new toy!

The Catit Circuit Ball Toy has a ball in a circuit around the outside, that cats can swat at and move around. Pesto and Popcorn have found a lot of joy in hitting this ball around, and neither seem to be able to actually get it out, which is perfect. As the ball moves quickly when hit, it provides a fun toy for your cat, that keeps them busy and allows them to hunt! Around the outside of the circuit, there are four spots to plug in the bumble bee on a spring, which you can add to the toy, so that your cat can grab at, bite, and pat around this colorful bug. It’s very easy to move to a new spot and is quite sturdy for a toy that is heavily hit!

In the middle of the Catit Circuit Ball Toy is the round scratcher, which you can put a bunch of included catnip onto. This scratcher is one that has already been heavily used by all three of our cats. They quite like scratching, and the fact that Catit sells replacements for this inner scratcher is very useful, as I am sure we will need one in the near feature. The only real issue we have is that Pancake is greedy and will sit on the scratcher so nobody else can use it, if he doesn’t want to share. Maybe we will pick up a second one – as he cannot sit on two at once!
