[Ad- gifted product] Autumn is just around the corner and beyond that is wintertime, so it’s finally time to pick out new jackets and warmer clothing, in preparation for the change in weather. England is particularly fickle with weather changing from sunny to rainy to just chilly all in one day, depending on the weather for that day. Between school runs, back to school times, and trying to get something suitable for all three children, it felt easier to grab some jackets online, with Dare2B, a website full of high quality clothing and jackets for children and adults alike.
Their Kids’ In The Lead II range of jackets include sleek jackets that have two colors – a main, solid color with a different color highlighting the torso and breaking up that main color. These are pretty lovely, and we found a great vibrant pink for Amelia, a dark colored navy jacket for Kai, and a simpler blue jacket for Robin as she is so little. These jackets have a lot of different features – for a start, they are waterproof, making them great rain jackets without that plastic rain jacket feel that can be hot if warn on a day where the sun is shining just a bit too brightly for a while. The jackets are windproof, blocking off some of the cold of a windy day, and perfect for walking around in the forest or enjoying time outside.
If we had snowfall, Dare2B jackets have adjustable cuffs, which can be made tighter to keep snow from going up your sleeves, as well as adjustable shock cord hems, to change the fit of the jackets so they last a bit longer on growing children. Amelia and Kai were both delighted to discover that, along with their two outside pockets, they have an inside, secret pocket for storing things close to their chest. I was most impressed with the hoods on these jackets, which have an inner layer that can be adjusted tight to your head, while still having an outer layer that looks like a hood – so that wind and snow could be blocked out of the hood itself.
We took our Dare2B jackets into the forest, for a little walk around, and found them to be really lovely – not too warm, not too cold, and perfect at keeping the kids the temperature they currently, which really showcases how much of a good windbreaker and autumn jacket these really are. All of the bright colors made it very easy to see the children as they ran off and played in the forest – the visibility is great, especially if you do take your children into the woods often, in the autumn time. These jackets are so much more than rain jackets and come with a surprising amount of features – both for ease of wear and for future usability, which is perfect when looking for jackets for children.
They look like a great option! My kids could use a new jacket this year.
Kids seem to out grow them so quickly!
I’ve never heard of this brand but it’s funny that I’m reading your article because I’m actually searching for a new jacket for my daughter now. She’s outgrown last years.
It’s the perfect time to pick some up!
