[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to toys that are for both adults and kids, Laid-Back Glasses feel like a fantastic invention. These glasses have mirrors in them, so that you can see what’s in your lap when you are laying down, without moving your head. Instead of seeing directly in front of you, you can just see down! Robin is the big reader in our household (though I can see how you could use these glasses to play on your phone!) so she was delighted to have a pair to play around with.
Laid-Back Glasses does restrict your view forward, so there isn’t a real way to wear them around. However, when you put them on laying down, you can easily see into your lap, allowing you to read books without the need to sit up. Robin said these worked very well, with her easily reading out her Dogman book as she laid on the couch. She absolutely loves silly yet functional things like this (and has a pair of glasses that let her see behind her) so was well up for wearing them.
They are a bit heavier than normal glasses would be, so that is something to get use to, due to the mirrors and extra plastic. Regardless of that, the Laid-Back Glasses don’t feel just like a kid’s toy. It feels like a functional gift that adults who like reading in bed would very much use! Reading before bed is something that Dann often does, and he found the glasses to be quite novel and work well too. It’s a neat idea, like something that feels obvious but I had never really thought about. Is it silly? Yes. Would I gift Laid-Black Glasses to the book lover in my life? Also yes.

That is such a cool idea! I think it’s super cool to be able to lie back and read without having to crane your neck.
These sound like a great idea. Its definitely a fun and practical gift for anyone who loves reading in bed without craning and hurting their neck.
what I like most is that they balance functionality with whimsy—they’re practical enough to solve a real comfort issue, but playful enough to feel like a toy.
That you can see whats on your lap without moving your head. That’s a really good feature.
It is a very clever idea to put mirrors in glasses just so you can read comfortably while laying flat.
I didn’t know glasses like these existed —these look so handy for reading comfortably while lying down — love how they remove all the neck strain.
Ha, what a fun idea. I can see why she enjoyed wearing them. I not heard of these before but I do love to read and lay down. These would be great.
We have a pair of these, they are great fun and I love that you can wear them over your normal glasses if you wear them
It is unusual, not heard of this toy before but looks like the family would have fun with this
These glasses really do sound hilariously clever and surprisingly useful! I love that they make relaxing reading even easier.
This sounds like a really neat concept. I often get neck aches from being hunched over a book. This is a great alternative!
That is soooo cool…I love the idea lol, the things people think of, just amazing. I will check them out.
Someone I know has these and they always look so funny when she wears them. But super practical especially if you find sitting for too long uncomfortable x
