Munchy Seeds are the perfect summer snack

Munchy Seeds

[Ad- gifted product] Summertime is here, so it’s time to try a bunch of different snacks that are easy to bring around with us and picnic with! Munchy Seeds is a very new type of snack for our family – as it’s a seed mix. To be honest, I only really eat seeds on bagels, as apart of the bagel, so having a seed mix as a sort of snack mix sounded really fun! The Munchy Seeds mix have primarily pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, which are flavored depending on the pack.

Mild Chili Munchy Seeds feel like the perfect snacking seeds. These have a light spice on them; nothing too overpowering. This seed mix works really nice as a topping to hummus or just as handfuls to be eaten. These seeds are very easy to eat and quite addictive too, especially if you enjoy spiced, crunchy snacks. The texture of the seeds are really good – not too crispy and not something that gets stuck in your teeth or anything like that. If you’re not a fan of the flavor of chili, then the Savoury Crunch mix is very similar, but a plan version of Munchy Seeds with pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and apricot kernels. This mix tastes a bit salted, and could be put as a crunchy topper on salads or just eaten like a snack mix.

I found this savory mix to be simple but good. It’s easy to eat by the handful and provides a good pack of protein. We tend to make a roasted vegetable salad and find that adding a handful of seeds to them really helps with the texture – and these seeds feel perfect for that. But the real star at picnics are the Munchy Seeds Salted Caramel snack packs. These are pre-portioned into little serving sized bags, that provide a sweet and salty snack that I really love.

These small packs are sweet, but full of proteins. They feel like eating caramel popcorn, but more filling and without that kernel thing getting stuck in your teeth. It’s a delicious way to eat these seeds, and the bits of caramel in the packet is like a little treat. These snack packs, while being a treat, do feel like a healthy alternative when it comes to snacking and do not feel overly sweet or sugary. As they come pre-portioned, it’s really easy to stick them in my bag for a beach picnic or put them in our children’s packed lunches as a healthy snack. They are something that I am sure we will be getting through quickly, especially with how tasty they are.

Munchy Seeds

Seeds may sound like a bit of a weird snack, but they are really delicious – even when they are not on a bagel. I really enjoy the variety in flavors that Munchy Seeds has, especially the sweet option! They’ve also got seed mixes with dried fruit, perfect for parfaits and seeds perfect for cooking with.
