Orbeez Mini-Playset – a silly activity set

[Ad- gifted product] Robin has really loved trying out many different toys. One of the things we haven’t actually played with in our home is Orbeez! Orbeez are these little orbs which sort of feel wet but also aren’t wet. They aren’t good toys for young ones who may ingest them, due to the nature of the toy itself, but once you have children old enough to play with Orbeez, there is a lot of fun to be had in the texture and general feel of these orbs! The Orbeez Mini-Playset is a sort of carrying case for your orbs, along with a little playset that gives you an activity.

There are a few different Orbeez Mini-Playset designs; some with pipes, some with squishy aspects. The one Robin ended up getting is a playset where you place two different pouches on the lid, once it’s open, and then a launcher onto the base of the set. You can then place the Orbeez into the little launcher and fling them around! This is pretty easy to use, especially as Orbeez are so light, so it’s very easy to ping them around. Getting them into the various pockets are much more challenging, especially as if you fling them too quickly, you will see them slide out of the pockets!

There are tons of Orbeez inside the Orbeez Mini-Playset, so if you miss and end up losing a few, that’s perfectly fine. Robin ended up losing a lot of these to the floor, so it might make a good outdoor toy during the summer or toy to play with inside of a shallow paddling pool, so that you can keep track of all of the different orbs that miss. There are also plenty of replacement packs of Orbeez as well, so you could always grab some new ones if your kit gets low.

Robin found this little kit very entertaining, both to just sick her fingers into the Orbeez and play with them, and to ping around everywhere. It was tricky to get them to go inside the actual pockets, but once she had, she was super proud of herself!
