[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to dental care, mouthwash was always that one thing that I didn’t ever like the taste of. There are tons of health benefits to using mouthwash after you do brush your teeth, so as someone who doesn’t enjoy many of the default, strange blue colored ones out there, I was interested in trying out ORGANii’s different mouthwashes. They have two flavors; Eucalyptus and Citrus – with Citrus really peaking my interest. As I have been trying to better take care of myself, I found wanted to find a mouthwash that I better liked using.
These mouthwashes are made with aloe vera – a natural anti-fungal and antibacterial plant extract – and are formulated to help protect teeth and gums, as well as prevent plaque and tar build up, and of course fight bad breath and gingivitis. They both boost the creation of collagen, improving the mouth’s ability to heal. These are obviously all huge positives and well worth adding a mouthwash to you tooth brushing routine.
Eucalyptus Mouthwash
Now, it’s worth stating that I was most excited about the Citrus mouthwash, but I ended up enjoying the Eucalyptus one more. This mouthwash doesn’t have a huge, fake-looking dyed color and doesn’t taste like a mint explosion. Instead, it’s quite subtle in flavor, with a bit of an alcohol taste (as there is alcohol in the mouthwash) and not much else. The taste doesn’t stick around in my mouth for too long after I use this daily product – which is always a plus I think! This is their basic mouthwash that does exactly what you need it to do.
Citrus Mouthwash
The Citrus Mouthwash has more of a taste then the Eucalyptus mouthwash, which I found to be a bit intense for me. This one also has a few additional essential oils which can provide additional benefits and cause these flavors. Grapefruit oil is said to have antimicrobial effects that help reduce harmful bacteria, orange oil that helps fight bacterial growth and is said to further protect your teeth and gums from infections, and lemon oil which is known to have antibacterial and anti-fungal properties which can help with bad breath and oral thrush. This mouth wash can be used to whiten teeth naturally a bit more than the Eucalyptus. All of these added benefits are a huge plus, but for me, the flavor just is a bit too intense when compared to the Eucalyptus. If you are one that does enjoy so much citrus fruit, it might be worth trying out and sticking too for the added benefits alone though.
Final Thoughts
Both of these mouthwashes are similar in color and do their job. My breath stays fresh and I feel like my mouth is cleaner – which is exactly what mouthwash needs to do. ORGANii’s products are vegan, organic, cruelty free and just seem like a better product then others I have previously tried. I have enjoyed the switch and do feel that the Eucalyptus mouthwash will be the one I stick to going forward. I also like the design touches – the bottles look very sleek and the small cap on the top allows you to pour a small amount of mouthwash out into the cup and drink from there, meaning you don’t need to have a cup in your bathroom. If you’re looking for a new mouthwash to try out or are unhappy with your current mouthwash, ORGANii is well worth trying out!
