[Ad- gifted product] Scribble Shakedown came out of the blue, joined our board game shelf, and became the number one game we’ve played this year! There is something super fun about the comically huge, moving pens and having to draw very simple things! Let me tell you about the game. Scribble Shakedown is a pretty easy concept; there are two different stacks of cards; Quick Fire and Team Battle, giving two different ways to play.
We started off playing Scribble Shakedown in the Team Battle deck, where we were split into teams. When it was our turn to draw, Robin and I would select a card, point to the word we both picked (as we selected the same word) then we would draw with the sand timer going! At the end of the time, the other team (Dann and Amelia) would guess what we drew. You can show them the card of three choices, but we found that to be too simple. Once the other team was done guessing, we swapped roles and they drew then we guessed!
After a few rounds of Team Battle, we decided to do Quick Fire mode, which quickly became our favorite way to play Scribble Shakedown. The way we played was by both team mates grabbing different Quick Fire cards and then trying to draw as many of the pictures on the page as we possibly could with the timer ticking away. Once we were done, the other team guessed all of our drawings. We didn’t really take this seriously or keep track of points and instead were having a great time.
Scribble Shakedown is a very fun game. The two, giant. funny looking pens only allow you to write in scribbly writing, with no straight lines being possible. This, along with a timer, does make the game quick and challenging! The timer felt like a good amount of time and the number of different prompts on the cards are very good, especially for replaying the game! It’s a very fun, quick game that can easily be played just with kids and no adult, as well as with adults and their children!
Well, that is super cute! I have to get this for our family game nights!
I can already hear all the laughing in our house from playing this one. It looks like a lot of fun!

Scribble Shakedown sounds like a fun game to play. We often look for games such as this to play especially during the long festive holidays so will look out for this.
The concept of the giant, funny pens and the challenge of drawing without straight lines sound like a blast. It’s fantastic that the game offers both quick, lighthearted rounds and more strategic Team Battle sessions. Can’t wait to add this to our collection and create some unforgettable family game nights!
I’m really bad at drawing so I don’t know how easy others would find it to guess my word. Looks like a fun and quick game to play x
This sounds like so much fun! I will have to pick up a copy of this for when we have our family board game nights.
Aww looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Tabletop games are so much fun especially with the young ones…they make everlasting memories. So nice to see you all so involved!
