[Ad- gifted product] We’ve previously reviewed Plus Plus, which are these sort of building piece toys, which can be plugged together to make a puzzle or build something, basically. Now, the same brand, has come out with the Plus Plus Hexel – which is designed to be a fidget toy perfect for kids who like to keep their hands busy while doing other activities. Fidgets are such a popular type of toy, it does make sense to want to branch into them, especially as the Plus Plus on their own have a fun texture and can be very soothing to play around with.

The larger Plus Plus Hexel has medium sized Plus Plus pieces, which are all strung together with an elastic string. This means that you will not lose pieces of the fidget when playing with them, but also limits the things that you can make, unlike traditional versions of Plus Plus. The Plus Plus Hexel does feel nice – the pieces snap together nicely and it’s easy to make a flat design or a 3D design, if you’d like. The number of pieces also feels good as well – not too many, not too little. Robin spied the toy and very much was interested in playing with it, as a little fidget before bedtime.

She has said that it is fun to play with, as she likes moving around the pieces and flexing it. Sometimes, she even flicks some of the pieces, which she finds to be very fun to do. She also added the Plus Plus Hexel to her bag of toys that she brings out on adventures, whenever we are out, which is always a good sign. The colors in the blue one that we have provide a waterfall effect, with some lovely colors of blue, but there is also a rainbow one and a bubble gum (sort of pink focused) one that can be purchased as well. This fidget does feel like a unique addition to the fidget toy category!

keeping those pieces connected with a string is smart for keeping things organized. the waterfall blue shades are a pretty choice for a fidget.
The Hexel looks like a pretty cool fidget toy. We have a box of fidgets in our classroom at school, I might have a look at getting some of these.
I need to buy this for myself, it seems like a good fidget replacement and even more entertaining, I love it.
That looks incredibly soothing. The action of removing and replacing the pieces would really calm me.
My kids really love fidget toys. I don’t think we have one like this yet. I like that it also has a fun texture. Mine use fidget toys whilst studying and doing online lessons.
Really enjoyed your Plus Plus Hexel review. Sounds like such a fun and creative way to build. Definitely giving me ideas for my next project.
This looks like a fun toy! Sometimes I crave food while watching TV and I found that keeping my hands busy is a subtle way of distracting me. Some crochet while watching a movie and I would try this gadget!
Toy review posts like these make me miss my childhood! I love that this works well as “night time” activity for bedtime! This is something I would let just by as a gift, but I’d. tryout myself for fun!
The Hexel is a fantastic toy for curious kids in my opinion. Thanks for the recommendation.
These look like so much fun, especially as you can keep changing the designs. We have some similar to this for when my little one gets a bit older x
My teen loves a fidget toy too. I love the look of this one for all ages!
