Our household goes through so many bath bombs. We normally order, quite often, from Lush – but during the pandemic, Lush is currently closed. This meant that we got the chance to try out some new bath bombs! In my Body Shop Mini-Haul, I talked about how I got bubbles and bubble bars because their bath bombs just weren’t very fun looking. That’s a big thing for me, I like bath bombs to have good color payoff and to be in neat shapes and colors. Pretty Suds does lots of cute bath bombs and after getting a haul from them, I loved their individual bombs so much that I ordered their monthly subscription box!
The theme for April was “Rainbows & Showers” which is pretty cute and makes a lot of sense. For £9.95 you get 5 bath bombs – and as these bath bombs are so large and fun, I felt the price was well worth it. Along with the bombs, I got a card that tells me the next box’s theme, how to use these bombs, and the ingredients in each one. All of these bath bombs came in a similar shape – clouds that have deep colors along the bottom. When you place these bombs in the bath, you then can pull them from side to side, making a trail of color almost like rain across your bath.
Pretty Suds consistently has a great color payoff when it comes to their bath bombs – and these rain lines are very bright and colorful. These bombs do disintegrate a bit faster than lush bombs, but as they are so big, this is very welcome. They are quite fizzy and all smell so lovely. The bath bombs I received were in the following scents: Morning Glory Cloud – Cherry, Pear and Vanilla, Tropical Sunset Cloud – Watermelon and Pink Apple, Silver Lining Cloud – Fresh Linen, ZZZAP! Thunder and Lighting Cloud – Musk and Spices, and Hugge Rainbow Cloud – Coconut and Vanilla. I do wish that the individual bath bombs were labeled, as I did need to guess which scents went with which bombs.
