I was pretty excited for the theme for June after getting my last Pretty Suds Bath Bomb Box, hoping they’d be space themed and not Alton John themed when I heard that it was Rocket Man! These bath bombs were lovely and there was even a surprise in the box – a bonus non-bath bomb – that everyone really got a kick out of. As said, this theme was Rocket Man with a space theme throughout.
Planet Bath Bombs
There were two planet themed bath bombs in this month’s box; Xagobah and Terra (which looked a whole lot like Earth). These planets are interesting and have a lot of color payoff when put into the bath – as does most of the bath bombs from pretty suds. The Xagobah bath bomb is tangy rhubarb and vanilla scented, which is pretty vanilla forward with the rhubarb notes coming afterwards. Terra was my favorite smelling bomb from this box, being apple and watermelon! It felt the bath completely oceany blue, which is always lovely.
Geode Bath Bombs
There were also two geode looking bath bombs; the Chicxulub Impactor and Perseid. Perseid was a household favorite smell, as the scent was quite inspired by candy! Candyfloss, caramel and toffee to be exact. And it smelled quite sugary and sweet. Chicxulub Impactor was more floral, with the scents of lemon, fressia, lily and jasmin. Both of these bombs had bath salts pressed into the top of them, looking like freshly cut geodes.
Astronaut Bath Bomb
The final bath bomb was full of glitter and quite white! This was a pressed Astronaut called X AE A-XII which smells of bubble gum, strawberry and peach, with the fruity notes coming through before the sweet bubblegum. It’s a really cool looking bath bomb and is quite flat, which is interested when you put it into the bath!
I really love these bath bombs! Pretty Suds are made in Yorkshire, their boxes are quite high quality and nice to have. As mentioned, I am always happy with the color payoff and the variety of scents within the box each month, so we are going to continue to be subscribed as we use them up!
Bonus Slime
As a bonus, inside the box, Pretty Suds sent along a small jar of sparkling slime! There was no note on this in the box (I do feel there should have been a note) but when I navigated to their instagram, I saw that they had posted about the item! It was a soap slime – something we always have in our house – in the scent of watermelon and pink apple. I loved the little story around this, of catching the alien and putting it in a jar for your bath!
