Science Mad! Chemistry Lab – Real Science Fun

Science Mad! Chemistry Lab

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to science kits, we have tried out a number of different kits from gross science kits to monster labs, but none have been as serious as the Science Mad! Chemistry Lab. This kit feels like a real chemistry lab in a box, with different chemicals, a burner, goggles and more – which can create a real, lab feeling at home that goes beyond a lot of the more silly and toy-like science kits out there.

As Kai has gotten older, his interest in science and history has not gone away. However, we have found that many of the science kits that have loads of different experiments are all extremely similar, with quite a few non-serious science experiments to try out at home. Creating bouncy balls and putting together simple bags of ingredients to make a liquid change color is fun, but the Science Mad! Chemistry Lab has so much more in store.

This kit does have a lot of the base stuff you will need, including beakers and tubes to hold various ingredients, but there are a large number of items, liquids, and other things you will need to supply yourself for these experiences. Some are household things like a potato or a ruler, while others can be chemicals that you might have some trouble finding, but will be worth it when you see your child try out the various expediencies in the booklet that comes with the kit.

Kai was able to do a large number of experiments by himself as they didn’t use the numerous chemicals and seemed to be within his realm of learning on his own, though for experiments that contained fire, we were nearby and watching to ensure that it was safe. It’s a really great chemistry set for those who are interested in science but aren’t interested in the more simple, silly science kits out there. It definingly feels more adult and like science lab in school than it does an at home kit. There are also just so many experiments that can be taken on – with step by step easy to follow instructions in the booklet that. Kai had a great time with his Science Mad! Chemistry Lab and it felt really great for his age range and interests. Science Mad! has a bunch of different products from light up globes to crystal grow kits, which can be found at Smyths Toystores.
