Our newest Triyit Box

Triyit Box

*AD – the items in this review were gifted to our household for this post. All opinions, as always, are our own.

Previously, Dann has qualified for a Triyit Box, and now I have qualified for my own! If you are unfamiliar with Triyit, they are a taste testing club, really, who send out a bunch of new products for you to try. It’s free, but you do have to fill in a bunch of surveys on the different items you get. You can end up with food, animal treats, cleaning products, household products and more! Each of these boxes are tailored to what information you gave them when you signed up, which is why I qualified at a different time than Dann. It’s really fun to try new products, so Dann and I are always excited when we see one of these are coming! Let’s get into the products.

Corona Tropical

Corona Tropical is an alcoholic sparkling water that is low in calories and has a decent percentage of alcohol. We got two of the Guava and Lime flavoured ones, which to be honest, is my least favourite flavour, as to me, it doesn’t taste of much! The lime and guava does taste like lime and has a bit of another flavour, but you can also taste the seltzer water. It feels like a good option for BBQs and for beachy weather, with a few other flavours as well. I quite regularly purchase the raspberry one, which was featured in a previous Triyit Box we got.

Minions Tropical Chew Bars

A neat candy for the kids, the Minions Tropical Chew Bars are really interesting. There are two flavours within the bag, but each flavour has two flavours in it, if that makes sense. The light yellow packages are Mango and Pineapple, while the orange packages are peach and passion fruit. When you open these bars you can see their split colours as well, which is cute. They are chewy in texture, softer than a Refreshers, and less sticky on your teeth. These candies are suitable for vegans too, which is a nice touch. Each of the packages also has a name of the minion on them! We really enjoyed these and feel they are a great lunch box treat.

NOMO Bar

Another candy bar that found it’s way into our box was the NOMO chocolate bar. These bars are free from dairy, gluten, eggs and nuts, but still contain a really creamy, chocolate texture. They come in a few different flavours, but we got the Carmel Choco Bar, which has a smooth and creamy Carmel filling, that is really satisfying. I enjoyed this bar and found it to be both tasty and texturally pleasing, and found the chocolate to be really rich and delicious.

Blink! Cat Food

Pancake has previously tried Blink! cat food as it came in a different, subscription box that we had previously got. The two flavours we got were chicken breast with tender duck and then chicken fillets. Both Pesto and Pancake do enjoy fish far more than poultry, but after some sniffing went into it. These cat foods are grain free, with no added sugar, which are great. We’ve previously not purchased them, however, as they are extremely, unbelievable cheap and the cats don’t really finish much of them and end up making a bit of a mess. They seemed to like licking away at these bags though!

MIX Hydration

We got a MIX Hydration sports drink pouch thing in our box as well. The instructions on this package mention using it in a machine to make it fizzy, by the sounds of things, but we do not have that machine. Instead, we followed the directions to add water to it. The drink itself tasted like a sports drink, slightly fruity in flavour. MIX Hydration is vegan, gluten free and uses less plastic then purchasing a bunch of bottles for sports drinks. It’s a very interesting concept!

That was everything that was in our Triyit box. It was very fun to try out new things and we look forward to our next one.
