[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to stress balls and funny stretchy toys, there are a lot out there! We’ve previously reviewed action figures that stretch and bend, but they felt very much like a Kai thing. This Stretch ‘n’ Smash Pig however is a super funny toy for all – as it’s a silly animal that everyone knows, that can stretch and pull. Robin was delighted to find the feel of this creature, though I wasn’t so sure it would be her thing at first, has become a toy she regularly is playing with.
The Stretch n Smash Pig comes in two colors; an orange-ish one and a pink one. Obviously picking the pink pig, she started pulling at it and stretching it out. The inside of the pig is filled with some sort of sand and there isn’t any room for air, so when you pull it out, it sort of sticks that way. You can stretch the face of the pig, pull out it’s arms, and really twist it about without breaking it. This sort of game of re-shaping the animal was all Robin wanted to do at first, until I told her she could slam it onto the table.
That’s when she started doing exactly that, to make it into a flat pancake of a creature. It’s a really simple toy, but the play value is flawless, especially if you’ve got a kid who likes tossing or throwing toys. The Stretch n Smash Pig is made for that, making it a good way to re-direct. The feeling of the pig, to me, felt like one of those old stress balls full of sand, so it’s fun to just mash around in your hand as well. Robin started bringing hers down in the afternoons, to sort of fidget with while playing on her laptop. It’s not broken or gotten stuck in a weird way so far and that pig has taken a real beating! She think that it’s hilarious when the pig’s face gets stuck or when it’s twisted about, creating a strange look to it.

This is the cutest little thing ever! I love being able to smoosh it, smash it, and twist it all over. That’s the kind of thing that never gets old.
