We previously reviewed an older version of the selfie bag, as well as a different version of this sleek eye design, but now they have released a Jute selfie bag – which is pretty cool! I really like the new design – it seems so much more sofisticated then the previous bag, and you can get a version of it with all of the Selfie extras – or you can get the bag on it’s own if you’d like!
Selfie Tools
When it comes to the tools featured in this bag, there are quite a few things to help you take the best selfie possible. One of the keys to a good selfie is lighting! You need to have good light if you want to look good. The Selfie Bag includes a ring light that can clip onto your camera – perfect for taking close up selfies and shining a bit of extra brightness onto your skin. This light is rechargeable with the included charging cable, and has several light settings from bright lights to more soft light to make sure you look great in whatever lighting you need. Along with the light, there is a fordable reflecting panel, which is very useful when it comes to redirecting natural light onto your skin. This panel folds into a small circle and can be placed in it’s own removable compartment, secured into the bag using a clip. It’s very well thought out in terms of design.
Along with the lighting tools, you can also find a multipurpose selfie stick in your back – which doubles as a phone camera stand, in case you want to set it up somewhere and take pictures with the included remote. I have found this stand to be so helpful, both in taking selfies myself and in placing in a spot to do entire photo shoots. It’s very easy to insert your phone – you don’t even need to take the case off of your phone – and use the remote control to take photos quickly and easily.
The Selfie Bag
The bag itself is such a nice design, with slightly thicker fabric then the previous bag. The handles are more sturdy too, allowing you to easily grab them and wear the bag on your shoulder. There is a flat bottom to the bag, so it does stand on it’s own easily, if there are some items in the bottom of it. The entire thing does have a big zip at the top, which will keep all of your items safe and secure inside the bag. This bag was designed with the tools in mind – including the clip for the reflective panel and a special long pocket perfect to slip your selfie stick into. The rest of the bag is open and empty, waiting for you to fill it with whatever you need for the day.
Though this design is similar to the previous Selfie Bag, there is such big differences in the fabric and outer design, that it does look like a whole new bag.
