Our first Triyit Box

Triyit

[Ad- gifted product] If you have never heard of Triyit, it’s a product discovery club where you can apply to join. Dann and I both applied over two years ago, and never got a box. If I remember correctly, they ask lots of information about what you eat, if you have pets, how you clean and more. All of this information is then used to see if any of the boxes are a good fit for you to have, and then you can be sent one! These boxes are full of different samples of products, from cleaning products to cat food to human food. Once you have tried them, you can fill out a survey to give feedback on packaging, retail price, taste, and more, depending on what they are looking for.

I was honestly surprised when Dann was selected for his box, considering we filled out our surveys exactly the same, and I wasn’t picked, but we do live together so I was also excited to try it out along with him! Inside the box, we got a campaign booklet that told us a little bit about the products we had, with a page or two actually outside of the book, as it seemed to be added. We had a variety of summer feeling products to try!

KitKat Chunky with Lotus Biscoff

Very recently, I had a lotus biscoff cheesecake, but previously have never had lotus. The cheesecake was so good, so I was very curious about the KitKat Chunky with Lotus Biscoff in the box! Dann loves KitKat loads, though we haven’t really tried any of the Chunky bars. This bar tastes really nice! There was clearly Lotus Biscoff in the bar, with enough of it to be tasted but not overpowered. The bar was a bit bigger than the standard bar, and can be broken into three, which is great for sharing! Not that you would want too, but in case you do have too.

Corona Tropical Raspberry and Lemon

Triyit

Based on the Triyit survey, everyone got different flavors of Corona Tropical, with us getting Raspberry and Lemon. This drink is low calorie, with a 4.5% alcohol content. It’s a sparkling water, with real fruit juice and alcohol. It’s lightly flavored, but enough that you do get to taste it, however, you do taste seltzer water as well, so you do need to like seltzer water to enjoy this drink. The drink itself feels really good for summer, BBQs in the back yard, hanging out with friends. It’s light and cute and summery!

Border Dark Chocolate Ginger Bars

As a grab and go bar, Border had a Dark Chocolate Ginger Bar in our box, though some people might have gotten a orange bar instead of a ginger one. Dann really enjoyed this bar, eating the whole thing right up! It had a light coating of chocolate on the outside, with a nice, snappy ginger, cookie-like bar in the middle. Though the bar itself was small, it was a good size considering how rich the flavors were and the price point for them is really reasonable considering their size!

All Shook Up Mango Margarita

Triyit

This was a brand we had previously had in our household. All Shook Up is sold at our local shop, where there are three different pre-mixed cocktails to choose from. This box had the Mango Margarita flavor, which is one that we’ve enjoyed before! This drink is lightly alcoholic (go to private luxury rehabs in Florida for any cases of drug and alcohol overdose), very fruity and super easy to drink. It’s another one that’s perfect for summertime, for BBQs, and for you time in the evening when you want a drink but do not drink beers. It’s just really tasty.

Jack Links Beef Jerky

Another brand we are familiar with, Jack Links Beef Jerky was in our box. I love the spicery, flavored versions of these beef jerky, but it was fun to have some original for a change. The texture of Jack Links Beef Jerky isn’t too tough, instead providing a good bite and a good amount of protein in the pack. It’s a simple snack, but one that is really great! In the campaign booklet for Triyit, they actually had a picture of this on a sandwich, which I found super hilarious, because it literally takes ages to chew jerky, so the mouth feel of it on a sandwich would be terrible.

Harringtons Cat Food

Our cats were not left out in this box! We got two bags of Harrigtons Natural Choice Cat Food. These packets were well enjoyed by Pesto and Pancake, who love trying out new wet foods, and wouldn’t take their heads out of their bowls until it was completely eaten up. They seemed to really like the food, so we are going to be picking up a mixed pack of them, as the Triyit campaign had a good discount code too! The food seemed to be primarily meat based, with not a lot of additives, which is really good for our little furry friends.

Nix & Kix Sparkling Cucumber Mint Drink

As more of a health drink, the Nix & Kix Sparkling Cucumber Mint Drink was our least favorute of the box. This drink is a sort of sparkling health drink, with cayenne pepper to help with your gut health. The taste of the drink was very bland, as you might imagine with cucumber being the first listed flavor. We do not love cucumber, so we didn’t really enjoyed the drink itself. They do seem to have four other flavors, so we might take a look at those, as the Mango Ginger drink sounds way more like one we’d have.

Over all, the Triyit box was really interesting! It’s a great way to be introduced to new brands, as long as they actually do pick you to try a box. That can be the most difficult part of it, really. Fingers crossed, we get another one in the future.

Oh the mango margrita sounds so nice, as does the biscoff kit kat as I love anything biscoff. We actually bought this brand of cat food for our cats recently, so looks like a good box x
