[Ad- gifted product] It’s summertime and we are looking to try new snacks and treats, possibly for school lunch boxes in the new school year. One of the things all of our kids really enjoy in their packed lunches are the jelly squeeze packets. They all often have them for their snack time snack, so when we saw Vortex Jelly Pops from Candy Paradise, we figured this would be a hit! These jelly pops come in a bunch of different fruit shapes, which showcase their flavors easily.
These fruit designs are also just really fun. Robin and Amelia were both excited to see their favorite fruits, with Amelia easily seeing the mango shape and Robin going straight in for a strawberry. The designs of the packaging, when it comes to opening them, are also quite fun. There is a longer handle-like bit of plastic that does look like you might need to cut it off, but you don’t. On the other side, you can easily use your teeth (yes, your teeth, that’s what the packaging says) to twist off the small bit of circle plastic at the back, and then slurp up all of the jelly inside. With this in mind, I do think that younger children wouldn’t be safe to open it themselves, as they could possibly swallow the bit of plastic.
For those who are older, like our lot, it’s easy to just pull of the circle, put it back in the bag that the Vortex Jelly Pops come in to be discarded later, and then slurp up your jelly. These jellies are extremely flavorful and do lend themselves closer to candy then jelly, which makes us feel these are more like a treat than a snack. It’s very more-ish, especially as you can quickly eat one and reach for another! Kai really enjoyed the lime flavor, he is a lime guy, and Amelia and Robin asked if we can get them again, which is always a good sign.
Though the Vortex Jelly Pops do have a lot of single use plastic, they are very easy to pop in your bag and have when out and about! I can see our children having them again in the future, especially as a treat on the go when out someplace special or when in their lunchboxes in secondary school. I do like how easy it is to tell what flavor there is in each of the jelly containers and I like how they are the perfect mouthful of sweet, fruity jelly!
omg these look soooo delicious! I can’t wait to grab Vortex jelly pops, yummmm….Look amazing.
I have a major sweet tooth, so I’d love to try these. I GUESS I’ll share them with the kids. I kind of have to, I suppose.
These looks great and something my daughter would just love. Its also great you can pop them in your bag for on the go.
We have tried something similar to these before. My son loves jelly and will often seek out things like this. This is something that he most definitely would love and the bag would not last long!
They sure are fun to eat. I remember enjoying them when I was a little girl. I need to grab some again.
Oh these look like a fun candy for the little ones. Lots of fun flavors to try and a perfect little treat to bring to the theatres ;D
Wow! These are fun and awesome treats for kids and parents as well! I’ll have to go out and check if these are in my grocery store… Fun times!
Wow! The Vortex Jelly Pops look like a fantastic snack for kids. Thanks so much for your recommendation!
