Dann and I love to do a bit of self care from time to time. Whether it’s long baths or face masks, the time spent relaxing is important. Face masks have more benefits as my skin has a habit of being quite spotty from time to time, so trying out different masks and finding new ones that feel just right have been a fun journey lately. I’ve spent some time picking out my favorite facemasks that can help you transform your skin to be smooth, soft and glowing.
Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask
The Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is still my top mask of all time. This face mask has a clay base with charcoal, tea tree oil and green tea tree leaves inside of it. When you put on the mask, it feels really refreshing and starts to tighten your skin, pulling out pimples with it. When the mask is completely harden, you can start scrubbing it off, and it really leaves your face very pimple free and feeling super refreshed. This is my current go-to when it comes to refreshing my skin.
Cotton Cloud
The Saturday Skin Cotton Cloud face mask has the packaging of a teenage slumber party – complete with a few stickers inside the main package! This sheet mask does come with a mesh layer that needs to be removed, keeping the mask from really folding in on itself. Unlike other face masks, the Cotton Cloud boosts prebiotics and probiotics which help make your face glow once it’s done! It’s a great mask to enjoy before going out – to bring a bit of glow to your skin.
Pumpkin 24k Gold Mask
This sheet mask, despite the name, is not gold in color – but it is a nice face mask either way! With a protective sheet that needs to be removed from the Pumpkin 24k Gold Mask, this is mask aims at bringing tired skin back to life and leaving your face rejuvenated. The mask is adorable, from Korea, and feels very refreshing on your skin. My only issue with the Pumpkin 24k Gold Mask is the size, as it’s a bit big for my face, but it can easily be folded over itself to make for a better size.
Mediterranean Almond Milk with Oats Instant Soothing Mask
Purchased originally for Dann, the Mediterranean Almond Milk with Oats Instant Soothing Mask does everything the (very large) title states. Dann’s skin is sometimes a bit uncomfortable and this face mask does the trick when it comes to settling his skin. It doesn’t harden or anything and is just one that you put on for a set amount of time and wash off, but it soothes skin like no other. The mask also smells like breakfast – oats and milk!
Thirst Trap Mask
The Thirst Trap face mask, which smells so much like coconut, also has a protective lace layer which really makes this mask feel lush. This mask is perfect for dry skin as it adds tons of moisture and keeps your skin full of life for days to come. It’s not a mask that you need to use often, as it’s really effective, but if you have dry skin or your skin needs a bit of hydration, it’s perfect!
