We went to Cammas Hall earlier in the year for Strawberry Picking and more recently for their Pumpkin Patch, but were delighted when Amelia’s friend’s parents invited our family to the Cammas Hall Bonfire Night so that all of our kids could hang out and have a good time in the evening! We had not been before, however they had, and we were pretty excited to finally try all of the food carts there, as it felt like the perfect excuse to try out dinner at the venue. It’s worth noting this event is paid by car, not by person, and only happens for two days of each year.

Picking Pumpkins at Cammas Hall
We go to Cammas Hall every year and really enjoy their selection of pumpkins. They have an impressive set up of pumpkins and are always adding new features to their pumpkin patch. This year, highlights include a spooky and not-so-spooky walk, a bunch of Pumpkin picture areas, tons of different pumpkins, actors dressed up walking around, and a corn maze.

A Day Out at Halloween at Cammas Hall
Cammas Hall is a local pick-your-own farm that we tend to go to every single year. We’ve done a lot of strawberry picking and have gone every year to their Halloween event, but this year it feels bigger than ever. Cammas Hall has a giant corn maze, a spooky child friendly walk, a teen-aimed spooky walk, a pumpkin volcano, massive pumpkin patch and actors around photo areas! It seems to keep growing each year, getting to be quite a big event. You will need to pre-book and pay an entrance fee to go into the spooky walk and pumpkin patch. The corn maze is a priced add on.
Strawberry and Cherry Picking at Cammas Hall
Cammas Hall is our most local pick your own berry farm. We love going there for the various seasonal events they hold and to pick strawberries each year! Cammas Hall has a lot of different options when it comes to fruit, and you can see what is pickable through their website before you go, which is useful if you are unsure what is in season. We tend to go for the strawberries, as they are very popular in our home, but this year we noticed that cherries were really for picking, so we had to check those out as well, as we had never picked cherries before!

Halloween at Cammas Hall 2021
Cammas Hall is a place we do go from time to time, mainly to pick fruits. It’s local, always has great produce, and is just a fun day out for the family. This year, they are doing a special, ticketed, Halloween event – alongside a Corn Maize and their regular pick your own pumpkin patch. We wanted the full experience – so we grabbed the Halloween tickets and headed over.
These tickets basically allow you to go through a spooky trail, which is very children friendly. The area is covered over, so that it is a bit dark and a bit spooky. All along the trail, there has been spider webs, decorations and animatronics. If you walk slowly down, you will find brooms hidden among the branches, spider webs with big fake spiders in them, and areas that you can interact with. We ended up touching the dials on a TV and watching it come to life, claiming it was stealing my soul. Ghosts fly back and forth on the path, and otherwise there is just a lot to see and take in. Nothing at Cammas Hall is too scary – Robin, who is the youngest of our family, walked through it perfectly fine, only commenting on the spider that jumps out as being scary.
