I am pretty sure we have gone to every dinosaur golf park now, within the UK! Mini-golf is one of those things that everyone seems to enjoy. You can decide if your family wants to take things seriously or if you want to give out re-dos and ditch the score sheet. Now that Robin is a bit older, we actually do keep score, but give everyone generous scoring. As the Dinosaur Safari Adventure golf had opened back up, we decided to give this place a go!
Like many dinosaur golf places, there are lots of different dinosaur statues, themed holes, and cute areas to putt around. There are even different signs that tell you facts and information about dinosaurs and speakers that are playing sound effects that would match these ancient beasts! There are dinosaur prints in the cement and plenty of water for them to drink from. This water is actually what stuck out most to me – it was neon green like Mountain Dew (the drink) and flowed through most of the park. It looked really neat as a background and keep this dinosaur mini-golf place in my head.
There were some pretty cool holes, especially as you got closer to the end – quite a few had hidden areas and holes that you could sink your ball into and it would come out at the other end. Other holes had some water features going through it – and these features could easily trap your ball. However, they did have grates in to keep your ball from going far on it’s own. One specific hole had a big canopy around it – which didn’t give anyone room to walk along the sides, but looked quite grand as well.
The entire course can be done in a couple of hours and Dann was even able to sink a couple of holes in one, which is always impressive, despite not having played in a while, so I would say it’s an easier course too. If you have children who are fans of dinosaurs or are just looking for a neon lake to walk around, you’ve found what you are looking for in this mini golf course!
You can check out our other Days Out to see what else we’ve been up too!
I used to have a dinosaur crazy golf course near me. Didn’t look as good as this though. Looks like a lot of fun!
There are so many it seems!
OMG this looks dreamy to me – I love dinosaurs! Plus, I have never played mini gold so it would be fun to try! Thank you for sharing x

I love crazy golf. This looks like such a fun course, especially if you have children.
