Posh Pals Swizzels Love Hearts

There is something so absolutely adorable about the different Posh Pals Swizzels Love Heart collection. From the soy and sushi to the more traditional love bee, there is something for everyone! I quite like the two plushie combination, with a little phrase on their heart. The single, bigger plushies are also adorable, especially if you find your love’s favorite creature holding an adorable love heart! These are a cute and fun gift that adults alike would enjoy.

Project 365 – January

Project 365 is sort of like a diary. Every day, a picture is selected and a little diary entry is written about the day. This acts as a living journal, though some post daily, some weekly, and some like me, post monthly. I am participating with a bunch of other bloggers, to write about our day to day lives! You can read all about January here, and hopefully as the year continues you can watch how my life changes and grows. If you want, you can also check out the other bloggers participating at the bottom of this post.

Desserts from Around The World

Last summer we did Breakfast from Around The World, trying out a bunch of different breakfasts so that we could see what our children liked and disliked, along with experiencing more of the world, through food. So, desserts from around the world is what we settled on! We selected a bunch of different desserts from different parts of the world that we have not had before and tried them for ourselves.

Seeing Illusions at the Paradox Museum

I’ve been seeing the Paradox Museum advertised for quite some time, but wasn’t sure if it was actually worth all of the hype. Looking to do something completely new at the weekend, we finally decided to go. The Paradox Museum has several locations, but we went off to the London branch, which is relatively easy to get too. The Paradox Museum is full of different optical illusions, which have various points on where you could stand to perfectly see the illusion. When we arrived, we dropped our coats into the free coat room, then went on our adventure.

Lunch out at The Green Man Pub

While out running some errands with a friend, Dann and I wanted to stop for a slightly bigger lunch as we had a busy day ahead. Wanting to try a pub we’ve seen a few times, we headed over to The Green Man Pub in Old Harlow. The Green Man Pub is in a historic 14th century Jacobean style building, with a lot of character to it. There is a dedicated car park, outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating. It’s also dog friendly, with treats within one of the entrances.

We went on a soggy afternoon, when the pub was just starting to fill up. We sat ourselves down and checked out the dinner menu. They have a few highlighted beers and some specials that end up rotating along with a classic pub menu. Though we were there for lunch, we ordered off of the dinner menu as that’s what caught our eye.
