I think it’s that itch of baking – so we checked the cabinet and took a look for a bread to make for Kai’s avocado toast for breakfast. Amelia isn’t a big bread fan, but Wright’s Baking has sent us a load of different bread mixes to try out. She read off all the labels on them and settled on the Cheddar Cheese & Onion Bread Mix, which sounded the “best for Avocado Toast”.

These are the ones that we often see younger ones playing again and again, on their own, as it’s just something so silly they they enjoy playing around with them. Harlow Chinese School – Hot Pot Party

When it comes to cooking at the Harlow Chinese School, a lot of the prep work is already done for us. This is totally okay with me, as I am more than happy to primarily do the eating! with the first course of the New Year, Sun Yong wanted to do something a bit different, and prepare a Hot Pot Party. This was more of a big social event, where we were just cooking out own Hot Pot and talking with each other. Honestly, it felt like a great community activity and a lovely way to start off the New Year without any sort of pressure.

Dog Man Attack of the Fleas Board Game – Working Together to Destroy a Robot

After playing the incredibly easy Dog Man The Flip-O-Rama Game, Robin was very excited to dive into some more challenging Dog Man games. The next on our pile was Dog Man Attack of the Fleas Board Game, which to my understanding, is from a specific chapter of the book, around Dog Man and the crew attacking a FLEAS Robot character. Robin was pretty excited to try out the story in her book, on a table, together.
