Group Dinner at Casa Rufo

[Ad- gifted experience] I spent some time in Bilbao, Spain – where I was recommended a few places to eat, including Casa Rufo. Casa Rufo is sort of like a deli when you walk in; there are cans of different fancy ingredients and a deli display, which had a bunch if items that would go great in some sort of hamper. The inside had tons of wine racks, with lots of bottles of wine sticking out. It feels rustic and quite like a hidden gem, where you would find a bunch of small plates and fantastic wine. Thankfully, one of the members of staff did speak English, so it was very easy to order as well.

Try out Laser Quest at Flip Out Lakeside

I feel like Laser Quest is a bit of a hit and miss activity, but one that is aimed at teenagers and so, as parents of teenagers, we tend to find ourselves going to some arenas. We actually booked Laser Quest at Flip Out Lakeside as it was so near to us and we had never actually been before. Kai was pretty pumped, with Amelia and Robin being generally excited. The booking process was easy, however, as Flip Out is a trampoline park, it did mention we needed the trampoline socks for our Laser Quest game. Honestly thinking this was a mistake, we didn’t order them.

Zooz Drink – Mushroom Infused Energy Drink

[Ad- gifted product] The beginning of the year is often all about trying new things and improving your health. When I heard about Zooz Drink being an energy drink with no sugar, lots of healthy ingredients, and no fuss, I wanted to give it a go!

Exploring Kentwell Hall Light Trail

Dann has been talking about Kentwell Hall for as long as I have known him. He went there in school, as some sort of tudor thing, and has always mentioned it when talking about school trips or interesting things at school, though he didn’t know it was Kentwell Hall, until we went there with Claire and her partner David, as a little double date out at light trails! Claire had picked out this location as she had seen the light trail and wanted to check it out. The light trail itself was very interesting!

That’s Not a Hat tests your Bluffing and Memory

[Ad- gifted product] Some Monday’s we are a bit pressed for time. That’s when smaller, ice-breaker style tabletop games come out and are perfect to play. That’s Not a Hat is all about bluffing what card you are currently moving to another person. We played as a family, with Dann, Amelia and Robin joining in while Kai played DND at our local Geek Retreat. The game itself was very easy to pick up and start with, which was ideal for our group.
