Our favorite types of games are the ones that Robin, Amelia and Kai can set up together and play, without much help from us, so that they can decide when they want to play and get right too it. It’s Bananas! The Monkey Tail Game is a pretty funny, easy to set up game that our kids can run themselves, easily.

Over the summer break, we have been looking to go to all sorts of fun activities. After going onto a small inflatable assault course in our local swimming pool, we really wanted to try a bigger one, that even Robin could go on (as she didn’t make the height requirement for the swimming pool course). Due to Robin’s age and very short height, she’s not actually tall enough for most of these courses, however Aqua Splash in Sawbridgeworth had different rules, as long as an adult went around with her.

[Ad- gifted experience] When it comes to vibrant, well spiced Thai food, Giggling Squid is a perfect place to eat. We entered the Giggling Squid and were in love with the décor. The entire place is so beautiful, with bench seating that has flowers hanging from them, looking so adorable. Pictures on the walls of hand-drawn squids, everything is so beautifully themed. And the smell of food wafting through the restaurant is absolutely mouth watering. Dann and I were really excited to dig into some delicious food – and totally ordered way too much! Giggling Squid has a limited time, Summer Menu which you can enjoy until September 4th. We got some dishes from that menu and some dishes from their regular menu as well.

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to these sort of surprise boxes, that contain cute characters for you to collect; they are always really popular with children! It’s really fun to open up all of these mysterious little gifts and then play with your character once you have them! Unicones are sweet n’ sparkly unicorns that come with so many accessories and even slime! Both Amelia and Robin got their own Unicones, and were super excited to rip right into them.

[Ad- gifted product] Robin really loves fairies. She has a fairy themed room, tons of fairy toys, and enjoys pretending to be a fairy too. So, when we saw the Got2Glow Fairy Finder, we knew this would be a hit in our household for Robin! This toy reminded me a lot of Tamagotchi – the little digital pets that you could carry around on a key chain, but reinvented into an entirely new thing. Though Robin played a lot with this toy, Amelia also checked it out and caught a few fairies herself.
