One of the newest games that have entered our household is The Upside Down Challenge. This board game has a pair of goggles that make things appear upside down, and then it challenges you to do an activity with the glasses on, while everyone else watches. [Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I, along with Claire, got to go to the Mostly Jazz Funk and Soul Festival last weekend, and it was an amazing experience. None of us had ever been to a festival, and weren’t completely sure what to expect. This festival was held in a park in Birmingham, which was easy to access from both train and car. We ended up parking near the venue, using on road parking, which was free on a Sunday.

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I love doing little outings, and despite living quite close to historical Cedars Park, we’ve never actually wandered over there. One afternoon, we decided to take a look around Cedars Park and try out the afternoon tea that they have at the Cedars Park Cafe, thanks to the BuyAGift voucher, which you can gif to anyone to give them an afternoon tea experience. You do need to pre-book the afternoon tea and cannot order it on the day, so ensure that you do so before arriving!
[Ad- gifted product] We have been completely pulling up our entire garden, for the summertime. Taking out trees, getting the flower beds all set up, and trimming the various plants we are keeping. Though we have outdoor toys, often it’s hard to watch the children while also avoiding all of the cut bits of tree and not distracting us completely. So, we got some Paint Pop Paint Sticks and told them to help by decorating the windows!

[Ad- gifted product] If you have never heard of Triyit, it’s a product discovery club where you can apply to join. Dann and I both applied over two years ago, and never got a box. If I remember correctly, they ask lots of information about what you eat, if you have pets, how you clean and more. All of this information is then used to see if any of the boxes are a good fit for you to have, and then you can be sent one! These boxes are full of different samples of products, from cleaning products to cat food to human food. Once you have tried them, you can fill out a survey to give feedback on packaging, retail price, taste, and more, depending on what they are looking for.
I was honestly surprised when Dann was selected for his box, considering we filled out our surveys exactly the same, and I wasn’t picked, but we do live together so I was also excited to try it out along with him! Inside the box, we got a campaign booklet that told us a little bit about the products we had, with a page or two actually outside of the book, as it seemed to be added. We had a variety of summer feeling products to try!
