Christmas Gifts for your Furry Babies

[Ad- gifted products] When it comes to Christmas time, there is a lot to do with gifts! We tend to get tons of gifts for the children in our household, but what about our furry babies? We hopped on over to Pets at Home and took a look at what they had, grabbing a few treats for our Hamster and two cats. Pets at Home has a large selection of items for a variety of different pets, including a lot of holiday themed items, so you can allow your pet to celebrate with you.

Gifts for Cats

When it comes to our cats, Pancake and Pesto, we wanted to get some really fun items with them! It’s Pesto’s first Christmas with us, so ensuring he had some lovely gifts was ideal. We also wanted to pick up some bits and bobs for Pancake, as he shouldn’t be left out of the celebrations either!

Meowee Meat Stocking

The Meowee Meat Stocking felt like a great gift for the two cats to share! This stocking has a lovely toy, which has a long worm-like creature for them to chase, which both of the cats enjoy doing. Along with this toy, which feels like the major feature of the gift, there are two bags of little, meaty treats – which I am sure the cats will enjoy over the next few months. These stockings, of which there are a few choices at the shop, are pretty fun. Ensure that you are picking toys that your cat does enjoy, as cats can be quite picky about what they interact with!

Webbox Cat Grass

Preciously, we have written about the importance of cat grass for cats. Being able to have cat grass for them to munch on and enjoy, especially as they are indoor cats, is something we always aim for. We picked up a pack of Webbox Cat Grass, which has a lot of grass in the container and is very easy to grow, so that we have plenty of cat grass for both of the cats to enjoy. Cat grass is also a fun task, as the children can focus on growing the grass, checking up on it watering it.

Pickle’s Milky Mice

As Pesto is still so young, we figured we’d get a him a milk treat. Pancake isn’t the biggest fan of milk treats and has grown out of that phase, but Pesto is still into milk-based treats! Milky Mice are natural, flavored milk treats that are designed for cats. There are four different flavors, including cranberry, which feels quite festive! I quite like the idea of these treats and can’t wait to see what Pesto thinks of them.

Webbox Festive Mousse

When it comes to Christmas Dinner, the cats will not be eating off of our plates, of course. So, we decided to pick up a can of Webbox Festive Mousses for each of them, which contains turkey and other Christmas dinner inspired flavors, but is set up for cats instead of humans. Both of the cats love wet food, and eat it all up whenever it is given to them, so we are hoping they enjoy this special Christmas Dinner treat, for them at the end of Christmas day.

Gifts for Hamsters

Harry Hamster Christmas Hearts

Along with Pesto, the newest pet to our home is actually our hamster, Lasagne. As it’s Lasagne’s first Christmas in our home, and the selection for hamsters is so good at Pet’s at Home, we wanted to grab up a few smaller bits for him as well.

The Harry Hamster range is one that Lasagne really enjoys. They always have a variety of really cute treats that seems to sit well with the little guy. These hearts are very cute and only around for Christmas, flavored with Cranberry and Apricot, which feels quite Christmassy as well. We think this box will last quite some time too!

Christmas Pudding Chew

If you’ve had hamsters, you probably know they need some sort of chew inside their cage, to help take care of their teeth. Our hamster has a lovely wooden unicorn, which we always are placing back into his cage after it’s cleaned. To get his cage decorated and him into the holiday spirit, we picked out a Christmas Pudding chew for him, which is made of a lot of different textures, instead of the wooden block he currently has, so we are sure he will enjoy this new type of chew.

Coconut Snowballs

Coconut Snowballs are actually good for any small pet, from hamsters to larger pets like rabbits. These veggie balls are rolled in a bit of coconut, looking like truffles that we give to humans, but are just treats that go over well with furry friends! It’s quite fun to get Lasagne something that looks like it is made for humans, and we do hope he will enjoy these, as he does eat a lot of fresh veggies and veggie-related food.

There are plenty of lovely gifts at Pet’s at Home – all waiting for you to go there and pick them up! With the number of Pet’s at Home all around the UK, you can leave Christmas shopping for your fur baby until late, and still pick up something fun!

This post is apart of our Blogmas series, with each and every post being about Christmas or Winter.

These look great. We will be looking to get some treats for our little hamsters. Both were from Pets at Home. We love going to look at the animals each time we buy items.
