Robin is a big fan of fairy everything, with a fairy themed room and tons of fairy themed toys and dress ups! When we saw the BFF Bright Fairy Friends Dolls, with their twinkling homes, we felt this was an amazing little gift for her. These dolls have a mystery aspect to them, coming in a large fairy jar, for you to open up and see what’s inside.
Robin was captivated by the light up jar, which has a little switch at the bottom that either allows them to twinkle non-stop, turn off completely, or twinkle when you move near them, as if the fairy is waving at you. There isn’t a lot of packaging on the outside, with the lid easily being pulled off to reveal the fairy inside. Robin feels she got the fairy called Rosie, even if her doll, to me, looks like a different doll on her list. It’s got a fabric skirt, beautiful wings that light up rainbow using the button on the back, and lovely long hair done in a few tight curls.
Our BFF Bright Fairy Friends Doll also had a little stand so that she could be displayed or easily put back into the bottle. There were a few mystery bags inside the jar as well, which had a hair brush for brushing out her beautiful, long hair, some clips that could be clipped in, to style it and a little bottle of pink fairy dust. Robin has been carrying around her doll for the better part of two days, brushing out the hair (which seems to have held up well, still curling together despite the constant brushing) and playing with her often.
The BFF Bright Fairy Friends Doll seems to focus really well on the hair and lights to these dolls, which really does make them feel like cute fairies. With 12 to collect in the series we opened, I am sure Robin will be picking up some more friends for Rosie!
Oh my gosh, I would have loved this as a kid! I think even my younger son would enjoy it, especially the dairy lights since it looks similar to when we would catch fireflies in the summer.
