Carfume Luxury Christmas Scents | Review

Carfume

*AD – the item in this review was gifted to our household for this post. All opinions, as always, are our own.

When it comes to air fresheners for cars, we tend to go with those big, plastic jelly bean looking ones that smell strongly of fruit. They are what we’ve seen people use, but in this day and age, with so much plastic being created and used, it’s worth taking a look at some other car fresheners that are a bit better for the world. Carfume air fresheners market themselves at luxury air fresheners – and they really live up to that!

These fresheners are made of wood, glass, and string – which are completely reusable. Once you have one of their air fresheners, you can then purchase oils that can be re-filled into the base, so that you can keep using them again and again. For the holiday season, Carfume has released a bunch of new scents; Gingerbread, Christmas Space and Christmas Tree. We received Christmas Tree for our car, in a beautiful green air freshener.

This oil was very easy to put into the freshener – you can just unscrew the wooden top from the glass based, take out the cork, and then squeeze the bottle of oil into the base. Once you have the bottle empty, you can put back in the cork, shake the bottle around, and screw it into the wooden top. These Carfume fresheners look amazing – almost like Christmas ornaments themselves – and the scent does come through the top – though a bit subtle then I expected at first. Often when you open plastic air fresheners they are sickly at first – coating the inside of your car with their smell. Carfume isn’t like that – it’s got a scent that you can smell but that doesn’t build when you are out of your car.

Once the holiday season is over, you can continue to use this glass holder, switching out the scents for a new one or waiting until it runs out. Either way, it’s such a lovely feature to have in you car! Carfume are currently doing both gift sets and individual carfumes – which make a good stocking stuffer for those who love cars or just got a new car themselves.

This post is apart of our Blogmas series, with each and every post being about Christmas or Winter.
