A Day Out at The Lost Spells at the Polka Theatre

[Ad- gifted experience] Once again, we found ourselves at The Polka Theatre – a lovely, child focused theatre with a large play area. This play area has dress up, building block area, books to read, coloring and a café, making it a really nice place to bring those who are younger! We do love playing in the play area of this theatre, but as I have previously spoken highly of the wonderful play area, we are going to dive right into the play that we’ve seen this time; The Lost Spells.

A Weekend Away at Splash Landings Hotel Alton Towers 2023

This year, we are focused on doing a bunch of little mini-vacations and weekends away as family adventures! Normally we pick a theme each year for the type of adventures we are going on, and this time it’s weekends away, so for my birthday weekend I booked up Splash Landings Hotel at Alton Towers, during their Pirate Takeover weekend. This was an amazing deal, as it included one night at their Splash Landing Hotel, a time slot in their indoor hotel water park, a day at the Pirate Takeover part of their park, and a mini-golf session, as well as breakfast on the second day.

Peter Pan Light Trail in Krakow – Piotruś Pan – Ogród Świateł

Our family really loves light trails. We’ve gone to many light trails in England, as well as exploring some in other countries across the world. When I recently went to Krakow for a work trip, I saw a light trail and just had to check it out. The Peter Pan Light Trail in Krakow (called Piotruś Pan – Ogród Świateł) is primarily aimed at younger children, but that didn’t stop me from having a fantastic time.

A Day Out at Sucker Punch at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch

[Ad- gifted experience] I was lucky to be invited to Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch to watch the play Sucker Punch for Life with Jupiter and Dann. It’s a lovely modern building with a well stocked bar to grab a cold drink pre-show or during the interval. The auditorium itself was laid out so that all seats had a perfect view of the stage which made a refreshing change as this is not always the case for shows I have seen in London’s West End.

A Day Out to the Lindt Easter Trail at Hampton Court Palace

As Easter is basically here, we wanted to hit a few of the limited time Easter Trails – but at places we have not been before. When looking for new gardens and parks to explore, we found the Lindt Easter Trail at Hampton Court Palace. This is an Easter trail we have never been too, at a palace we have never been to either! This trail was actually really massive as well, as the Hampton Court Palace is a huge place, and there was so much to explore.
