Category Is: Cocktails – Drag Race Cocktail Recipes

[Ad- gifted product] Dann and I are a big Rupaul Drag Race fans, watching the series time and time again on WOW TV, where we have a subscription just to watch Drag Race after the series was removed from Netflix in the United Kingdom. When I heard there was a cocktail recipe book called Category Is: Cocktails, with Kim Chi on the front cover, I felt it was either going to be fantastic or terrible, with no in between.

Midweek Meal Inspo; Broccoli Cheddar Soup, Alfredo, Honey and Soy Chicken and more.

It’s been another week of different foods, and so we have another Midweek Meal Inspo! There are tons of different foods we’ve had from more hearty meals like cheddar soup and lighter meals like a huge salad. Kai helped out with the chicken alfredo this week too, which is always a nice surprise. Dann and I got a bunch of rice noodles, so you will likely be seeing more of them in the near future.

Harlow Chinese School Cooking Course – Buns, Soup and Pork

After discovering the Harlow Chinese School‘s cooking courses earlier this year, we were anxiously awaiting the next course to attend. A Day Out at Borough Market

Dann and I love going to food markets, and one of our favorites is Borough Market! Though we do not get there often enough, when we go, we always have a fantastic time. Borough Market has a bunch of street food stands, as well as stands that sell a number of artisanal products. We’ve previously gone there to purchase cheese, smoked meats, and chutneys for fantastic charcuterie boards! It’s also just a fun location to explore, though on the day we went, it was very busy. Our goal was to get a few dishes to eat for a late lunch / early dinner.

Midweek Meal Inspo; Tortilla Soup, Perogies, Chicken and Gravy, Stir Fry, and More.

This little bundle of meal inspiration has some classics, some family favorites, and a bunch of new foods. We have been looking for more quick foods that don’t take too long to cook. Ours have been very busy with extra activities and lots of general fun, so these meals have been throw-together and quick, to sort of round out the winter! I am very excited for the holidays coming up, so that everyone can have a go at helping to cook.
