How to update your home office

When it comes to where you work, you can be uninspired if you have been working in the same, boring room for quite some time. We’ve previously talked about how to create a functional office, but today, we are going to look at updating your office and ensuring that the place you are working in is inspiration and able to help you work well when you are there! This article specifically looks at updating a home office.

Paint a feature wall

The walls of your office is one of the first things that you should start with your walls. Often, in most buildings these days, walls are painted a natural color; white, grey, light blue. These colors present a clean room or area, which is good, but not having a lot of color in your room can make it feel sterile, uninspiring, and just drab. You can make the decision to change all of the walls, or focus on a feature wall. Wallpapering or painting a feature wall, possible as a backdrop if you are often on camera for your job, is a really fun idea. Having this entire new wall can really update your space and make it feel more bright, colorful and fun, especially depending on the vibe you go for, for your wall.
