Learning about cultures with Jump Up! A Story of Carnival

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to reading bedtime stories to the children each night, we love to pick up new books to keep things fresh. More and more, we have been focused on adding in books that depict other cultures and other people. Learning about various cultures and understanding that there are different people that all have different beliefs and upbringings is really important in our home. The George Padmore Institute is doing a wonderful job publishing children’s books and reading material that fill the void that the 2020 Black Lives Matter campaign highlighted was needed. Dream to Change the World was the first in this series of new publications, with Jump Up! A Story of Carnival being the second.

Doughnut Time’s Hoppy Easter DIY Kit are fun to decorate!

It’s been a while since we’ve had a DIY kit from Doughnut time! The kids and I both seemed to have forgotten about them, in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But, when planning the menu for Easter Holidays, we remembered, and figured it would be very fun to decorate some donuts together as a family before eating them up! Easter Crafting with Plasticine

[Ad- gifted product] Easter is right around the corner, so obviously the girls are inspired to make all sorts of Easter crafts. Plasticine is the perfect way for Robin and Amelia to make some clay crafts time and time again, as none of the clay dries – so you can reuse it to your hearts content! As spring break is among us, we decided to bust out loads of the Plasticine kits and make some Easter crafts.

KiwiCo Tinker Crate – Color-Mixing LED Crystal | Review
