Ordering a Letter from Santa, from the Lapland Mailroom

[Ad- gifted experience] Christmas is such a magical time of year! There is always a big feeling of magic in the air, from the moment snow starts to fall from the sky to the first mention of Santa Claus. Lapland has the option to get a letter from Santa mailed to your home, which can really make the concept of Santa more magical and realistic to those who are young and old.

Lapland offers four different personalised letters from Santa (or Father Christmas, if you choose to call him that!) These letters are all a bit different, one of them being designed for a baby’s first ever Christmas and the other three being different variations of a letter from Santa, so that you can get one for each of your multiple children, yet they all won’t be exactly the same. All of these letters are upbeat and cheerful, reminding your child that Christmas is right around the corner, one thanking them for sending a letter to Santa before now, and all of them talking about your child being on the nice list this year.

We Completed Blogtober 2021!

With the end of Blogtober this year, I feel the end of a lot of pressure! I am so glad we took part – and look forward to Blogmas, but finding ourselves creating a post every other day about Halloween, while balancing the world opening up and work, has been a challenge as always. I really enjoyed Blogtober this year, though next year I hope to include more crafts and recipes. It was an interesting October, as the world had just started opening back up, and with a few different events to attend, a bunch of new pumpkin patches, and a few parties / weddings / other family occasions, the month was jam packed!

Finding Little Bugs with My Living World Bug Photography Kit

[Ad- gifted product] You’d be surprised how much these children like bugs. I feel it all stems from Kai’s ant farm, which is living in the corner of his room, but Robin also is a huge fan of bugs and bug collecting. She was very excited when she saw the My Living World Bug Photography Kit, which has everything you need to capture and take a closer look at the bugs that you find.

Autumn Sightings – a collection of Fall pictures

Autumn is a really fun time of year – nature changes, bringing together warm colored leaves, lovely shades of red and orange, and a bunch of new fruits and vegetables that are ripe and growing. When I think of autumn, I think of the leaves – pile sand piles of leaves, crunching under your feet. This had me wondering what others thought of and could find around them that really represented autumn. I have actually gone ahead and asked a bunch of other bloggers to share an image they took that reminds them of Autumn, and to share a bit about them, to see what everyone has seen this autumn.

The picture I choose was all of our feet in the autumn leaves. There is something amazing, as I said, about autumn leaves. We have shared a lot of photos over Blogtober of all of us doing Autumn activities like pumpkin picking and haunted trails, but there hasn’t been a celebration of crunchy rings before. which is why I choose it.

A Day Out at Dino Kingdom Nottinghamshire

[Ad- gifted experience] From the creators of Lightopia, an event that Dann and I look forward to every single year, Dino Kingdom is an interactive dinosaur experience with a dinosaur walk, that we were all very interested in going too. Lightopia is more aimed at adults, with a lot to see and not quite a lot to do, however, Dino Kingdom is a smaller scale event, with a of interactive rooms and points for children to enjoy. We decided to go up to Nottinghamshire for the Dino Kingdom event, which was in a massive park. The car park for Dino Kingdom is a bit far away, so you will find yourself walking down a trail full of jokes and dinosaur facts, which was a nice way to lead us where we were going.
