They aren’t afraid to reveal who they are and what they stand for, but chances are that they have a deeper level lurking under the surface. A Day Out at Hyde Hall Easter Trail

Last year, due to lockdown restrictions, we actually got along to quite a few different Easter Trails in our local area. The kids had a really good time at them, so this year we took a look to see if any new Easter trails popped up, and found one at Hyde Hall that looked quite unique! Hyde Hall is a massive garden space, with plants from many different biomes. For Easter, they put a bunch of huge Eggs around their gardens, along with information on the flowers and riddles to guess what bird has the type of egg shown on the sign.

Learning about cultures with Jump Up! A Story of Carnival

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to reading bedtime stories to the children each night, we love to pick up new books to keep things fresh. More and more, we have been focused on adding in books that depict other cultures and other people. Learning about various cultures and understanding that there are different people that all have different beliefs and upbringings is really important in our home. The George Padmore Institute is doing a wonderful job publishing children’s books and reading material that fill the void that the 2020 Black Lives Matter campaign highlighted was needed. Dream to Change the World was the first in this series of new publications, with Jump Up! A Story of Carnival being the second.

It’s been a while since we’ve had a DIY kit from Doughnut time! The kids and I both seemed to have forgotten about them, in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Easter Crafting with Plasticine
