5 Strategies for Planning a Funeral for the First Time

In life, we will inevitably lose our loved ones along the way, as the aging process happens to us all. Whether your parent or another family member has sadly passed away, you may be accountable for planning their funeral. Understandably, the process can seem overwhelming; however, there are lots of strategies that can help you plan a dignified and respectful funeral for your loved one, such as those listed below.

Plan Ahead

When organizing a funeral for your loved one, you will need to establish whether they have a pre-paid funeral plan in place. Creating a moving 4-Cylinder Engine with Machine Works | Review

[Ad- gifted product] Earlier this week I built a moving 4-Cylinder Engine, part of the Machine Works range with my eldest son. It’s a fascinating kit, perfect for those who are mechanically minded, or who really enjoy building models. There are a lot of different people out there, and as such there’s a lot of different hobbies out there. I’m not actually very mechanically minded; I struggle with instruction booklets and normally ‘process of elimination’ my way through troubleshooting things. However, I’m really like seeing how things work, from microchips through electronics to machines. The 4-Cylinder Engine kit is a safe, accessible way to learn the core of how an engine works, and comes complete with a manual full of extra information, as well as an AR-based App.

Looking towards the end of Lockdown Tag

I have created a little tag to reflect and share my thoughts, especially as I didn’t participate in the weekly feelings and thoughts about COVID.

I don’t know about you, but HelloFresh is always advertising itself to me. It’s on my Youtube and Facebook ads, telling me how much easier my life would be if I just purchase the meals. Our friend Becky always has HelloFresh meals, and sometimes gets codes to share with her friends, which gives the new signup a 5 day trail, where you can get dinner for two people, for each day. In our household, we cook a lot. All of our meals are homemade, and we don’t actually eat freezer food – it’s either homemade or eating out, really. I am always unsure of what to make of these sorts of at-home meal kits, but I do find the concept interesting, especially when it comes to trying new foods.

Taking a look at GirlTalk Magazine | Review

[Ad- gifted product] Whenever I look at the magazine section at Tesco, I feel overwhelmed with toys, colors and unsure of what exactly I am looking at. Many magazines have toys attached to them, when they are aimed at children, and it’s always got me wondering if the magazines themselves are well worth it, beyond the toys? When it comes to GirlTalk, I was curious how Amelia and Robin would both react to the magazine itself, as young girls who don’t have the biggest grip on pop-culture.
