Shopping for Men’s Accessories with Trendhim

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to shopping for men or people who prefer some masculine accessories, it can be a challenge. There are plenty of cheap leather bracelets marketed at masculine people, as well as dozens of sites stating they have great products, but Trendhim seems to be the real deal. Trendhim is looking to provide accessories that can be worn every day, giving people the ability to make their look their own, through the smaller details that they wear. Often, masculinity doesn’t mean accessories, but time has moved on, wearing accessories has come to be common and quite lovely.

A Day Out at Christmas Wonderland at Lakeside

When we heard that Winter Wonderland in London was cancelled this year, we were pretty sad. Dann and I always make a journey to the lovely Winter Wonderland, enjoying all of the foods, rides, and more. Despite it being cancelled, Christmas Wonderland is taking place at Lakeside, and although it isn’t as big, it does have ice skating! I love ice skating so much, it’s something I’ve always done. As a young kid, when ponds would freeze over, everyone would get their skates and ice skate along them, playing games of hockey or just hanging out. It’s a lovely time, so when Dann surprised me with the tickets to go ice skating, I was pretty pumped.

Doughnut Time’s Gingerbread Doughman DIY Kit | Review

We have been making the various Doughnut Time kits all lock down, checking out the Cookie Dough Sando and the Design-Yo-Own 2.0, impressed with the idea of creating our own donuts and putting them together with various bits of decorations. Doughnut Time then announced a few different festive donut kits – so I am sure this won’t be the only one featured during Blogmas! The Gingerbread Doughman DIY Kit is actually a vegan kit where you get to fill your own doughnuts – something we were very excited about!

Lapland Letters – Letters from Father Christmas | Review

[Ad- gifted product] With Christmas just around the corner, we wanted to start some new traditions for our family. Last year, the children all got the chance to meet Father Christmas and make their Christmas wishes. Because this year, due to Covid, there probably won’t be any of that, we decided to write Father Christmas some letters! All three of the kids sat down last month and wrote up what they wanted for Christmas and about how good they were – of course – and send them off, not really expecting a reply. I then took the opportunity to get some customized Lapland Letters done for each of the children, giving them a specific reply to them from Father Christmas himself.

Blogmas Tag 2020 – Our First Blogmas

This being our second Christmas together, we figured we’d take on another challenge! Blogtober went so well, with us completing it, that blogmas should be a breeze, right? As per usual, we are going to be doing Blogmas a bit different for our blog. Normally, blogmas is just a challenge where people should post each and every day of December, however, as we post a lot anyway, we are aiming to do at least one Christmas or Winter themed post a day, with other posts going out as a bonus. To kick off Blogmas, we have made a little tag to get us into the spirit of the challenge.

Snowy Christmas or a Warm Christmas?

Jupiter: Though I do not like the cold, I do like the snow, so a snowy Christmas is what I would love to see! My dad use to say we weren’t made for the cold, but I miss it now that I live in England where we do not get nearly enough snow.

Dann: I prefer a snowy Christmas because Christmas isn’t about going out and doing big activities. It’s about staying in, being warm, and looking out and seeing a peaceful and calm world. Snow does this well, making such a calm moment.
